12:52 the broken construct on the ground reminds me of the 'dead' robots in skyward sword before you activate a timeshift stone near them....... interesting
I don't think the Zonai Construct we saw in previous trailers is giant at all as the Ranger Zonai Constructs look exactly the same so it might just be a perspective trick where it's actually a close up POV shot of a Ranger Zonai Construct
i assume so, since if you look at the minimap at 10:30 you can see that some houses have a tick and some do not. possibly indicating that the houses with the tick are completed houses.
speaking of the longitude and latitude, maybe there will be a side or main quest including the coordinates that will help you find what or where you're going to, or else why are they there? but, we never know... edit: I knew it, they have the features, and I know i forgot to go back and edit this comment, BUT I GOT DISTRACTED IN THE GAME WHEN I GOT IT.
5:19 on the top we can see probably that big box golem from a previous trailer. He's a bit in the mist and looks more like a shadow because of the weather and distance. But it looks like he's standing next to that stone
From what I found, the blue line on the minimap matches up almost perfectly with paths in Hyrule, but missing the road & bridge to Kakariko village. Maybe this means paths on your map will be found as you traverse them? Also, there are visible lakes and rivers on the minimap, showing that maybe the map is unlockable in parts, or maybe again that things will appear on your map as you find them. That would make sense given there is no more sheikah tech.
Im assuming when this new calamity happened link and Zelda were in the middle of rebuilding hyrule which would explain the random piles of wood scattered around for us to use
That "Giant Zonai Boss" is literally just a Ranger Construct close to the camera. It's probably Link's first interaction with one in a cutscene towards the beginning of the game.
Can we all take a minute to thank Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka For creating the legend of Zelda We have them to thank for thousands of hours of enjoyment 🤘🏼
5:25 on the subject of that huge temple, it is worth mentioning that it has gapped layers/floors that strongly suggests the use of _Ascend_ will be the primary methos of scaling this temple. One would assume there is a purpose to making the player ascend something in such a tedious way. I am sure there is a task on every floor. And I don't think it will be as simple as a gauntlet you can bang out in one go. I think instead that this temple will be widdled down over the course of the game (or at least a chunk of the game). The size of each floor may be significant as well. I don't think the incrementally increasing surface area is just for the aesthetic. Maybe we're filling these floors with something that Link must bring from the surface or sky-islands? with each new floor requiring more of that something? Or maybe we are solving a massive puzzlebox whose every step/level is larger and more complex than the last?
Holly crap!! Thank you - I had no clue I missed so much!! I've heard some complaints about the graphics and the quality of the graphics - what do others think about them? I LOVED the idea of the eyeball arrows - and wondered myself if that meant no elemental arrows - but honestly, if they don't exist and you have to use the chu jelly instead, for example - I love that idea - I mean, in BOTW I eventually get to the point where I stop picking it up, because there is ONLY so much you can do with the chu jelly - so actually HAVING a reason for hundreds of chu jelly is a GOOD idea!!
I feel like most people have a misconception about the batteries, with the clips we’ve seen the battery life seems to be part of link, not the materials who use it, this can be seen with the heavy amount of battery usage when multiple fans are being used rather than one, when in theory if they all had one battery, the drainage would remain the same
What Imma try right away is to push a bolder down a hill then recall and climb on it. It would be hilarious if this is a no clip glitch and pushes you below the ground
Honestly it seemed obvious to me youll be rebuilding especially after the trailer. Obviously that’s where we left off botw, the building tools fits the theme just like scavenging and breaking tools fits the theme of surviving in a decaying hyrule, they said you’d control how the world looks what else could it mean, there obviously is rebuilding mechanics in totk, and last but not least from the ground up was so popular how could they not do at least some of that.
Nr. 49 Tis icon are the rocks with the green things around them (the icon tries to copy the ring from them) The other icon is for caves and the checkmark says if we have visited it or not (You can see link go into one later in the trailer) I have posted this at the 10:00 mark so i didn't see if you explained this
At 4:40; is it just me, or does Nadra look bigger this time around? the shading and color make it look like she's about as far away as mount lanayru, but she looks significantly longer than what i recall from botw.
I suspect the lat, lon, and altitude on the minimap is just dev debug information that they forgot to disable before filming and decided it wasn't important enough to remove. I will be genuinely surprised if they leave that in for full release.
My idea is you could but like battery packs to increase battery for cars and stuff at the battery symbol (or you could find one) and the battery symbol also would let you recharge batteries, maybe you would use zonai charges for it? Or maybe you could manually charge them with zonai charges like with the master cycle fuel
The “Giant boss” construct you keep mentioning is just a ranger construct, it just looks big from that perspective. If you look closely they are the same thing
6:07-10 Here you can see that Link only has 1 vial of the potential 8, implying that this is very early in game. I wonder how you can get more & how they help 7:27 That mushroom next to hyrule herb is new & must have some special ability. Maybe it releases a sticky substance trapping enemies 15:38 It must be the same from the end of the name reveal trailer, of a woman. I wonder what the other glyphs are
For the UI, there's a subtle change for slowing down your horse. In Botw, the icon says "Whoa..." but in the trailer, it says "Whoa!" (this detail was mentioned in another video about the trailer, but I don't remember the name of it at the moment)
Those numbers by the materials in the video at the fuse menu likely are indications of the quantities for those items rather than an indication of attack power increase. I am also surprised that when Link got blown off the island at the end of the video, he didn't take any damage from the fall after he landed in the river. A fall from that height in BOTW would likely have been fatal!
Yeah, but water doesn’t cause fall damage because video game things. One of the first things I’m gonna do is test if I can dive headfirst into the ground.
He was talking about the number that appears next to the crosshair _after_ the fuse, not the numbers in the menu. Also, you never take damage when landing in water in BotW either, regardless of height.
Just noticed, between all the abilities shown, recall is the only one to use golden effects very similar to Zelda's power in BOTW. Maybe that means something, I'm feeling like that is not a Zonai ability but more like a goddess one. Seems pretty deliberate the difference between that one and the other ones.
something i don't think anyone else has mentioned is that those platforms where it seems you can build a car or somethin. well those looked like foundations for a house to me the first time i saw them.
I highly doubt that the gauge on rewind is upgradeable. I think the gauge is just showing you how long until you rewind all the way back to where the rock started. Because it's a rewind time mechanic. I bet you're only able to take it back to where it originated. There's no way to really upgrade that
I’m assuming the coordinates and new menu means that you get some sort of new device. whether it’s an upgraded sheikah slate or something else entirely is beyond me.
I got some new facts for Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe? It’s in the comments section of your countdown of the best bosses in Return to Dreamland Deluxe. Until then, here are 4 more facts- 1- whenever you get a Merry Magoland stamp ticket thingy in Story Mode and Extra Mode, it makes the same sound effect as when you get a puzzle piece in Kirby Star Allies 2- in the original game, if you went through a semi solid platform and then immediately turned into stone, you would rise ever so slightly and end up back on the platform. In the original, you would clip through the semi solid platform. This is probably to make the game less annoying. 3- When you enter a door in the hub worlds, the original tilts the camera downward as Kirby goes through the door. The remake just zooms in. 4- Merry Magoland has tons of references to the old games. One of Checkerboard Chase’s missions, “Adding Adeleine” is a cutscene in Kirby 64, the “Old Friend” mask is a mask of Sectonia before she became the literal Queen Bee of Floralia in Kirby Triple Deluxe, “Extermination By Blaster” from Booming Blasters was what it was called when playing as Susie in Mystery Guest Star, Star Allies Go! in Kirby Star Allies. I could go on and on, but I won’t.
