In kakariko village. There's a little cave called the cuco hideaway. And how you find it is you wait until morning, and follow the cuccos. It gives you a ton of bird eggs.

I remember going into a cave and while exploring it i found a room that was filled with different types of mushrooms and the room was brightly lit with these crystals
The Tabantha canyon in the depths is a very surreal location. Its nothing fancy, but its just a gargantuan elevated landmass that goes up so high you can touch the ceiling. The bargainer statue at the edge also makes the place feel even more ominous and majestic.
When you go to the ancient tree stump (in a lake west of Mount Satori), you can actually go inside the tree stump. There is a beautiful cave with all these roots that are reminiscent of the roots of the lightroots in the Depths. There is a bubbul frog and Misko's treasure but nothing else. I just happened to stumble across it while I was exploring. Beautiful dreamlike location.
It is almost impossible to state how useful this series has been to me. I always explore every location mentioned in these videos. Thanks for the great content!
I just found a cool one in the Depths today!! It doesn't have an actual name or anything, but there's a lone platform at (1215, -2802, -0589) in the Faron region southeast of the Construct Factory. It's through a valley with a Black Hinox, but I avoided it by climbing up the wall beside the Sijotu Lightroot (1218, -2544, -0612) and then paragliding down once I reached it. This area doesn't really seem to serve any major purposes, but what's cool about it is that if you head further south a bit, you'll find these massive rock formations you can break to find salt, flint, and the occasional ore (mostly opals of course, but I got a few rubies and sapphires!) Best of all though is that the very last rock formation is pure Zonaite. You can get a few dozen pieces of Zonaite here, as well as some Large Zonaite. My only warning is that the rock formations sit in Gloom, so maybe have some ways to avoid it + make sunny foods when mining. P.S. just in case anyone was wasting time like me trying to farm with Yunobo: Riju's lightning ability is waaay more efficient when it comes to taking down large rocks at once. I dont think it affects drops as much if at all as long as you pick them all up in between attacks.
thank you for this comment. You can completely skip the point of this side quest by just giving the lady at the store eggs and I never followed them and totally forgot about it. grinding for caves now and only have 3 bubbul frogs left
Underneath Satori Mountain in the is a place called the Blupee borrow where you can find many tunnels filled with Blupees and a small pond with 6 poes 3 large poes and 2 grand poes. It is also the only place where you can a cherry blossom tree in the Depths.
The room behind the Goddess Statue in the Forgotten Temple is where Rauru had the secret stones before he gave them to the sages. Sonia's grave is in there, and there is a large light in the room with the geoglyphs. I feel like it could have been Rauru's "secret temple of light" considering there is a gigantic light and a room where secret stones were stored. Also the connection with the goddess statue of Hylia could correspond with this, with her being a deity of light.
Here's two very minor locations I found interesting. At the very edge of Mount Nabooru (-1719, -2235, 0036) sits an out of place well, inside the well you find one of those stepped terraces water slowly flows down. It doesn't seem to be made from any special rock ingame (like many irl examples) but it is rich in ore and is an interesting sight to see when slowly floating down into the well, especially when you're low on fairies to give it an even more otherworldly glow. West of Hyrule Castle is (-0781, 1084, 0044) a small island, there's little on the island aside from a Korok camp. However it does have an unusually high amount of Mountain Crows, and you can find several stashes of flint, arrows and other shinies they've collected here. Nothing amazing, but it gave me pause for a little bit that they added small details like this.
God I love Kakariko bridge. I found it when I played BOTW as a kid and Always grabbed the apple. It was literally the first thing I checked when I reached Kakariko in TOTK. I genuinely almost cried for no real reason, I just felt So Deeply that my little insignificant apple had been remembered.
You know the ancient tablet in Lookout Landing? It dropped from somewhere! Almost at the (very specific) height limit of 3292 units, over Lookout Landing lies where that tablet fell from. Getting up there is tough! there is nothing to there, but the view is amazing! You can see all of Hyrule up there!
Honestly I find the Observation Deck in the depths and it’s Heart shaped island very intriguing and one of the biggest mysteries to me in my opinion. Like how was this place with such a strange island underneath a mountain with a lake that has the same shape. Anyway one of the most intriguing places that I’ve found is the Gerudo Underground Cemetery. Also one small location that I like but it’s really small is the very top of the Zonaite Forge Island, there’s a big tree in the center where you can find a korok. It’s a small place but it’s very beautiful.
Try going to the gleeok den below typhlo ruins in the depths. Its easily miss able since it only has one entrance. Other than the king gleeok you can find some statues of every race looking toward the center. I wonder what they did down there?

I have two unique places to me. Both are shrine quests but could be missed. 1. Mainland. Go to the Rito village and get to the very top of the rock during early morning. Look for the shadow of the rock around 6:30 or so and you’ll find a white bird. Head there to discover a shrine. Just a neat touch they put into the game. 2. Mainland. There’s fun (to me) shrine quest located at -2036, -1855, 0065. Between Koukot Plateau and Mount Nabooru (Sw corner of map, also known as Rakakudaj Shrine). It’s almost as if you are white water rafting to obtain the crystal and return with it. Let me know if you enjoyed those as well!

0:15 This cove was one of fond memories playing BOTW, interestingly had a Talus then too. I had pretty much stuck to the path the game kind of gives you when playing BOTW, getting to Hetano village. I then got really bored and decided to try the "open world" aspect I heard so much about, so I just decided to do a straight bee-line to the overlook there above the cove (forget its name) that had a shrine I could see. After a lot of gliding and climbing I got there, just to find that Shrine and the one down below on the small island were Major Tests of Strength, which I was not ready for yet. So then I decided to drop down, and landed in that cover with many deposits. Thought that was so cool, until the Talus popped up! Was my first Talus encounter!! I didn't fair too well.
At the coordinates-0031, 0350, 0031 (in the castle town ruins) there is a destroyed house with a chest in it that has a pretty nice treasure inside (maybe the lifesavings of the person who lived there).
I have to say the Tarrey Town Construction Site because the fact that A) you can find a Zonai dispensary and B) you can unearth different zonai parts is amazing, and helps progress the game.
@@plaidhatter1674 Yeah there is still "underground" in between the ceiling of the depths and the ground on the surface. The entire length of the chasms. so the same way there are underground caves that don't connect to the depths this is an underground cave

so a personal theory of mine for the gerudo prison ruins in this video. we know the jail wasn't for Ganondorf. he got sealed away underneath hyrule castle which acted as his prison. but we know one of the original sages was a Gerudo, maybe this Hyrule had a Twinrova as well, and after Ganondorf being sealed, they might've gotten locked up there.
There’s a lake near maybe prairie that during certain times of day glows yellow similar to Zelda’s light magic. You can get some really nice pictures from a zonai/monster camp nearby of both the glowing lake and hyrule castle
Some of these locations I really hoped would get some cool zonai lore stuff from botw didn't and I found that disappointing. Like there's a location in tabantha called Dragon Bone Mire. sounds super dope. in botw had a treasure chest and a korok and some bones - went back in totk. it's pretty much the same
And north of it you can actually find a shop from Age of Calamity, I don't remember what it's called, but if you go inside you can find some Goron pots
I think it would have been funny if all the poes looking down at the island were friends of the poes on the island, and were watching the grand and large poes confess to each other. idk, sounded better in my head ig
Hear me out, I've had this theory since the game came out. Hyrule is sinking into the ground by the second. It makes sense if you think about it. Some areas in the depths represent areas from older Zelda games. Like how there's a Graveyard in the bottom left corner of the map, just like in the original Zelda
@@BowlOSoup6661 okay but like maybe there was AN OLD UPHEAVAL more then just a calamity, and the hyrule we know wasn’t even the first hyrule, the depths was hyrule before even the zonai, and our hyrule became there sky islands, and over time the islands merged together, and the chasms are holes that didn’t get filled in maybe our hyrule is skyward swords skyloft, and the chasms are like the holes you create in the sky, I’m going crazy now
@Yangire76 There is actually a theory that proves your point (kinda). It’s that the events of SS, BOTW, and TOTK are an infinite loop. The symbol for ToTK is a snake biting its own tail, which is a symbol for infinity. It’s that ss happened before botw but after totk. So the sky islands created by the upheaval are the ones in ss, which are hidden by the cloud barrier in BOTW until another upheaval reveals them again in TOTK. So the idea that the depths were an old Hyrule isn’t that far fetched at all
In the past video you covered the shrine of resurrection but it lines up just perfectly. The hot spring is just a nice place to chill. Also the lower area reminds me of the final trial dlc. Think about it. The banana is the monks box. The Yiga foot soldiers are maz kosha. And the been cycle kinda looks like the master cycle.
Okay how about most of the optional areas in hyrule castle that are super hard to find unless you know they existed in botw and should be around the castle somewhere.
You should try and go to the floating cubes that you probably have seen and ignored it these are actually labyrinth and if you follow exactly what they said you will never know what will they give you
My only beef with the depths is that I wish I could Descend, like we can Ascend. Why?: Hear about a cool place in the depths, that has a counterpart on the surface? Find the spot on the surface, and just Descend. Find a shrine on the surface? Just Descend, and hit up the corresponding light root. Yes, I like exploring, but when you’re looking for a specific location, I feel like I’m bumbling, more than exploring, sometimes. I know that would be Game breaking, so just give me a counity supported. Intent for AutoBuild, including a most popular builds tab.
My working theory is that the underworld was the surface world. After the flood, as the Deku Tree explained, the land connected itself which resulted in the the current world.
In the BoTW DLC, dosen't the shrine of ressurection sink down to reveal Link's divine beast dungeon? Maybe the spring is where that used to be. And like the other divine beasts seems to be missing now.
You can also find Sonia's resting place elsewhere in the game which makes me think this isn't the case. Also we know Rauru is basically a restless spirit trapped in a battle with Ganondorf for thousands of years
One location I found interesting is Gisa Crater at about -3950, 1138, 0112. The Ikatak shrine is located there. But what could have possibly created such huge craters?
It has three canons attached to construct heads each but there is more It just keeps firing and i added two big batterys to keep it from wasting my main battery source
Lmao that is a good point about the irony of the spring of revival having a grand poe meaning it’s clearly not very good at it’s singular task of revival. Who exactly are grand poes? Would someone as powerful as link be grand or maybe people like the champions or even less important characters
We really just can't say though. There could have been an ancient wiseman that was the attendant to the spring similar to the old knight in indiana jones. so he was there to facilitate healing and overtime he never left and eventually withered away himself

So the idea that the depths were an old Hyrule isn’t that far fetched at all
There is also a chest that contains the twilight trousers or hat
A very cool detail that is linked get it link anyway from botw is that the heart filled lake isnt in half and underneath it are two grand poes
My favorite location is the cave in the chamber of revival where some yigas are
Did you find the arbiter grounds in the groudo desert
You should try and go to the floating cubes that you probably have seen and ignored it these are actually labyrinth and if you follow exactly what they said you will never know what will they give you
How neat. I just found the two apples under the bridge earlier today. I was wondering why on the world they were there lol
By doing a quest in gerudo shelter you unlock a shrine dedicated to the 8th heroine filled with weapons rupees and gemstones
Cora lakefront cave reminds me of Metroid dread
I LOVE THIS SERIES
same
Same here 😁
Could you put all of these in a playlist so i can watch them all? Not sure which ones i've missed
To elaborate on the AutoBuild thing, I tried to build the air bike that got popular, but I couldn’t get the steering stick centered on a fan right.
It's definitely iffy
My working theory is that the underworld was the surface world. After the flood, as the Deku Tree explained, the land connected itself which resulted in the the current world.
In the BoTW DLC, dosen't the shrine of ressurection sink down to reveal Link's divine beast dungeon? Maybe the spring is where that used to be. And like the other divine beasts seems to be missing now.
Great game and interesting comments on the walkthrough!
LoL the first thing I did when getting to Kakkariko village was look under that bridge. 😄
I think Hyrule is one earthquake away from collapsing into the depths literally
I think the 2 pies next to each other in the secret spring stands for Sonia and Raru
You can also find Sonia's resting place elsewhere in the game which makes me think this isn't the case. Also we know Rauru is basically a restless spirit trapped in a battle with Ganondorf for thousands of years
“I don’t know if they tried to imprison Ganondorf down here, or someone worse, like master kohga”
*me:* 😂😂😂
The Crudo underground cemetery in the depths next to the Kasparov lightroot
One location I found interesting is Gisa Crater at about -3950, 1138, 0112. The Ikatak shrine is located there. But what could have possibly created such huge craters?
I’ve heard a theory of stone taluses/meteors landing there then spreading throughout Hyrule.
3:41 maybe the Gerudos used to be cannibals? Mmmm, Voe on a stick 😛☠️
4:21 maybe its the cell of the creator of Yiga. There is no way that the goofy master kohga was the original creator of the clan.
i swear the depths feels like a old 2d zelda game maybe the map might line up somehwere
Right under heart lake east of lurelin in the depths is a ancient observatory.
... that's in this video
It has three canons attached to construct heads each but there is more It just keeps firing and i added two big batterys to keep it from wasting my main battery source
Maybe the prison was used by ganondorf and the ancient gerudo to imprison their enemies
I have a theory for the kakiriko bridge apples, what if that the devs put that there as an Easter egg for dorian's wife that passed away
In the depths where the cap of the wild is if you killed the gloom hands there
In a a theory it is said that the Deapths was the world beore the Arrival of Nydra, Farotra and Eldra.
every hot spring has a lavafall under them
Lmao that is a good point about the irony of the spring of revival having a grand poe meaning it’s clearly not very good at it’s singular task of revival.
They’re a mass of singular poes! How do people miss this?!
In the tempel of time on great platue there is a small Place in the right Tower Above the korok
9:55 that was what I thought!
South Akkala Stable Well. There is a secret Goddess Statue there
Any of the under ground boss fights especially Colgara
Puffer beach cave has the phantom helm.
I’m very excited if there is going Metroid prime 2 I’m excited
"Lava waterfalls" 💀
1761, 2867, -0849 in the depths in eldin right under the yunoboHQ east cave and Left to the misisi lightroot
It looks like an old colosseum that they filled up with water
i saw a theory that the gerudo prison was the gerudo hideout from oot
