Also, Kathy Burke loves him, and there are few better endorsements than that :)

It's very subtle and hard to explain!
This goes some way to explaining why Katherine always looked as though she had been crying and was so stoney faced all the time - presumably trying to hold it together and not laugh.

i like it too but i think it depends a lot of how comfortable they are with each other (or like how comfortable they seem to be anyways), like the first episode of the new series is out and it feels a bit more awkward than this season was
Almost 8 minutes of 7 people pissing themselves with laughter. Daisy was laughing so hard during the recordings that Greg and Alex were genuinely worried she would go into labour!
I've been in the audience in a show in an earlier series (the one where Jessica Knappett fell off the stage). If you get a chance to (when things get back to normal and they are allowing audiences in the studio) I would recommend it.

The paramedics took her off to assess her, so there was quite a tense pause in proceedings, but they eventually decided she was OK (apart from a few bruises) and she rejoined the show.

Most of the funniest parts of this series are thanks to Catherine Parkinson doing funny shit and then putting up with people taking the mick, what a hero

I think this whole series is a huge testament to Katherine. Being consistently really horrible at something and still staying good natured, laughing with everyone who’s taking the piss out of her, makes me like her a lot.
One of my favorite things about this show is that it opens my world up to comics I never would have thought about. I live in the U.S. so a lot of comics in Europe I never would have heard about without this show. And there are some that I have recognized before in seasons (Katherine Ryan for example), but this shows me others that I would never have seen without this show. Each season I'm wary at the start and fall in love with all of them by the end. Katherine Parkinson this season, in particular, won my heart. I loved her in I.T. crowd but this made me want to watch all of her other works. Same with the rest of them.
Other UK/irish comedians i suggest you look up are jon Robins, laura lets, dara o’brian, ed burns, susan calman, fern brady, kiri pritchard-mcclean, sindu vee (indian, grew up in phillapines, uni in canada but now based in uk), alan davies, chris mcclausman, larrydean, lost voice guy. They wont all be to your taste nicholas, but gives you a few more youtube searches to find people you like
I was so nervous for this series given that it moved to Channel 4, had lockdown in the middle of filming, and had no audience in the studio. But man oh man is this series glorious. These intimate, awkward, childish moments likely only happened because of the circumstances. What a wonderful present to the world. I love each and every one of these contestants so much. Katherine Parkinson is a particular treat. Her near continuous breakdowns brought me such joy.
This is quality on it's own. I can't get enough of TaskMaster and these "in between the lines" shots only make me fonder, you were all clearly having so much fun! more please if you got it :D

I'm only half way through series 10, and while the tasks haven't been the best, I think it's the funniest series for the banter between the tasks. That's a pretty high bar!

I feel that the first clip is probably made funnier by the lack of an audience.

@@johneagan5249 I’m English and I heard handbag, listening to it again I can hear both but I think it’s just his accent. For example, I pronounce sandwich like “samwich”, and thinking about it I probably say “hambag” instead of handbag, too
