Today I went Bourbon Hunting in South Louisiana at Bayouside Liquors! This store was recommended to me by so many folks around the south Louisiana Bourbon scene! MM changed the label on the 46 CS. They are still making it!
MM 46 Cask Strength that label design was that he had showed in the stores was from 2023 now the regular 46 they redesigned their label this year and now it's red instead of being tan. I haven't seen any MM 46 Cask Strength from 2024

@@DrDooph I will have to check that out I have not seen any Maker's Mark Cask strength ones that are from 2024 yet I've got one right now I have from May of 2023 actually a dunker bottle too with the wax almost over the level so I'll keep my eye on it thanks for the heads up👍🏻🥃

I have yet to see a single bottle of the jack daniels barrel proof rye with my own eyes. My go to liquor store is a local chain with a great whiskey selection they only get 6 bottles of regular jack daniels barrel proof a month. Crazy.

It kills me on the inside to see Jack Barrel Proof and Ryes plus BT products in general. You have no idea how painful it is to live in a state that’s last on the distribution list.

Are you from Louisiana? I live in Thibodaux and stop at Bayouside a good bit. They have a great selection.

@@Wiskeyer Bayouside is my main stop for bourbon. Another really good one is Canatas in Houma. Maybe a 20 minute drive from Thibodaux if you are ever in the area again.

The Maker's Mark 46 Cask Strength was only released in two batches in 2023 with that specific label design I haven't seen any since or any wity 2024 batch. The Maker's Mark 46 now has a new redesign label now its red 🟥🥃
