Great work, I woudl like to backup emails to Google Group. I have the emails on Google workspace itself and also in a PST format. Please let me know if this is possible
if you are on Enterprise Standard or Above, it will show up in Token audit log for activities. Otherwise there wouldn't be any logs other than what you can see in admin.google.com/ac/owl where you can restrict access to Gmail Services (APIs) or block applications that's accessing Gmail scopes.
If I have 100.000.000 email messages and I want to use this same backup/restore process with GYB. Is it possible? Or would it impact to Gmail API quotas? If so, can I backup in batches to avoid quota limits?
Question: everytime I want to backup an account I'll be asked for the user and password for the account to be backed up? is there a way to avoid that an use my admin account to backup accounts without any email and password interaction? After I press option 7 GYB ask me for user and password, my goal is to avoid that part because sometimes will be required to do emergency backups and we will not have the password from the user and by security policies we can not just reset password since there is 2sv enforced, i hope my question is clear
From what Jay (developer of GYB) said, while some information is written to sqlite database, it's not enough information to troubleshoot a migration. We would recommend using commercial or Google's tools depending on your migration needs
Idk if this is still get looked at but, i get an error saying ERROR: GYB ran out of memory during backup. Try the following: 1) Use a 64-bit version of GYB. It has access to more memory. 2) Add "--memory-limit 100" argument to GYB to reduce memory usage. any advice on how to approach this

I'm having the same problem, did you figure this out?
Can you please explain on how to interpret log reports? How do I troubleshoot emails that were not migrated during the restore?

I have GYB installed, but where do I download gamadv-xtd3?

You can specify --batch-size flag or --memory-limit flag to control how many messages gyb processes
