Me too, I can't really express how much I appreciate it. He could just leave it and miss a few subs from the massive count he has already but he actually CARES. He gets it, bullying and difficulties with mental struggles etc. It benefits a lot to save the few seconds of potential torture for people who actually want to see it. I hope you're genuinely alright at this point and the foreseeable future and if not then I wish you all the best
I appreciate that from him because I have a skin picking addiction. I’ve had it since I was little. I think it comes from a mixture of anxiety and ocd. It’s a horrid thing to deal with because it feels good in the moment but then you hate yourself for it because you’re harming your body and you don’t want to but you can’t help it. Thankfully it’s gotten a it better for me now but I’m still struggling with it.
My grandma’s friend’s husband just passed and she’s started to do what the First Lady does. She doesn’t take the urn everywhere, but she recently took him on “holiday” when she went on a boat trip, and let him “drive the boat”. She still talks to him like he’s there. It’s absolutely heartbreaking. He was just larger than life and now a huge presence is gone. It’s really really sad people do this. Thanks for the respect Daz xx

The thing about pulling hair out of a drain is that it's simple, yet productive; it makes sense; it's something he can control; and it can't lead to any type of tragedy. But I think the main one is that it's something that he can control. His father was ripped from him suddenly, and life seems so chaotic and uncontrollable to him. So cleaning the drain gives him comfort in a way.

when I was a kid, my mum and dad were always arguing and shouting, and I felt like I couldn't talk to anyone so a stuffed teddy bear was the only one I could talk to. I was six though, but I still told this bear all my secrets. I'm 12 now, and sometimes when I've had a really bad day, I'll tell it and when I fall asleep I'll be hugging it, so I get the one about the pillow. I don't take bear everywhere though. just in my room

So that first woman kinda reminded me of when I was a kid just after my mum died I used to carry a framed photo around everywhere in this little bag that she bought me that was just big enough to fit it. I'd put it on my desk in every lesson and it smashed a few times meaning I'd cry until I found a new frame. I don't carry it anymore, but the similarity really struck me

I lost my step-father 8 years ago to cancer and it is still really hard to deal w every day he was the best father in the world!!! My sister saw the whole thing happen and had a nervous brake down for four years, well she basically MURDERED MY STEP-FATHER AND SHE WONDERS WHY NON OF HER CHILDREN OR GRAND CHILDREN DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO W HER!! And my biological father lives w her still and she’s already told me that she plans of cutting of my dads oxygen in his sleep when she feels she’s had enough of him he is also dying of cancer!!!! Here later than most, but I had to comment. The lady carrying her husband's ashes wasn't on the show for just carrying his ashes. The "crazy " part was when she admitted to EATING his ashes! She said she got some on her finger while transferring them to the urn. She didn't want to wipe part of him onto the floor, so she licked her finger and just couldn't stop. On that episode, she admits that she's ate quite a lot of him. I don't know if it made her feel closer to him, but it really is sad. Hopefully, she's getting help to deal with her loss.

Can I just say that the shower-drain hair thing is DEFINITELY Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. The way he describes the anxiety and specificity of the hair is definitely an OCD thing, poor dude...I mean like I'm not a shrink but I do have OCD and while I don't have this specific compulsion the way he talks about it reminds me of how I feel after completing a compulsion: relieved and bad (though I usually feel bad bc I'm just like 'damnit i did it again' lol)
I have major OCD (like medically diagnosed) and I think it would be a different type of compulsion. I don't necessarily think that it's OCD but I think it could be similar .

Until it went missing and when I got older, my dad told me that he had gotten rid of it. Alrhough I was upset, it was a good decision of my dad's to take it from me otherwise I may still have it with me. Your opinion could make sense, having an addiction like that is like some source of comfort and relief. But it is the best choice to take away those things from children if they are getting attached to it

So that first woman kinda reminded me of when I was a kid just after my mum died I used to carry a framed photo around everywhere in this little bag that she bought me that was just big enough to fit it. I'd put it on my desk in every lesson and it smashed a few times meaning I'd cry until I found a new frame. I don't carry it anymore, but the similarity really struck me

I lost my step-father 8 years ago to cancer and it is still really hard to deal w every day he was the best father in the world!!! And just recently I found out that while he was in the Hospitol and was going to be coming home in a few days that he slipped a little deeper into his illness so they kept him a few days later and to come out that they gave him too high of a dose of pain killer and he REALLLLLLY WAS OUT OF IT TO WHERE HE REALLY COULDNT SAY MUCH BUT HE WROTE TO US WHAT HE WANTED TO SAY BUT JUST AS WE WERE ALMOST AT THE HOSPITOL TO SEE HIM I FOUND OUT THAT MY MOTHER OF ALL PEOPLE TOLD THE DOCTOR HE WAS SUFFERING AND TO GIVE HIM THE SHOT TO KILL HIM LIKE THEY DO WITH ANIMALS!!!! My sister saw the whole thing happen and had a nervous brake down for four years, well she basically MURDERED MY STEP-FATHER AND SHE WONDERS WHY NON OF HER CHILDREN OR GRAND CHILDREN DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO W HER!! And my biological father lives w her still and she’s already told me that she plans of cutting of my dads oxygen in his sleep when she feels she’s had enough of him he is also dying of cancer!!!! If there was a way to prove that she MURDERED MY STEP-FATHER AND PUT HER ASS IN JAIL FOR LIFE BEFORE SHE GETS A CHANCE TO DO WHAT SHE PLANS ON DOING TO MY DAD I WOULD!!!!! Here later than most, but I had to comment. The lady carrying her husband's ashes wasn't on the show for just carrying his ashes. The "crazy " part was when she admitted to EATING his ashes! She said she got some on her finger while transferring them to the urn. She didn't want to wipe part of him onto the floor, so she licked her finger and just couldn't stop. On that episode, she admits that she's ate quite a lot of him. I don't know if it made her feel closer to him, but it really is sad. Hopefully, she's getting help to deal with her loss.

Can I just say that the shower-drain hair thing is DEFINITELY Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. The way he describes the anxiety and specificity of the hair is definitely an OCD thing, poor dude...I mean like I'm not a shrink but I do have OCD and while I don't have this specific compulsion the way he talks about it reminds me of how I feel after completing a compulsion: relieved and bad (though I usually feel bad bc I'm just like 'damnit i did it again' lol)

Until it went missing and when I got older, my dad told me that he had gotten rid of it. Alrhough I was upset, it was a good decision of my dad's to take it from me otherwise I may still have it with me.
Your opinion could make sense, having an addiction like that is like some source of comfort and relief. But it is the best choice to take away those things from children if they are getting attached to it
