Im on my 4th set , i use Beetle Biab Gel and have just gotten a bottle The Gel Bottle , excited to try it on my next set , still getting used to working with how Biab works , i use prep and Dehydrator from Naio, i just find with Beetles its really thin so when building a bead its just harder but we move

This video has definitely helped! Just wanted to ask do you ever get quite bad heat spikes with you’re clients? As I done my mums the other day and she said a couple of her nails had a bad heat spike? xx

I’m so glad! Some clients get heat spike if their nails are naturally thinner. Make sure you have your lamp on low heat mode and if they do still get heat spikes just pull them out of the lamp for 10 seconds or so and pop them back under 🥰

@@thenailroombygee thank you! I’ll definitely do that and just another question 😂 I’ve got dehydrator, primer and a bonder but I’m not 100% when to use them like for gels, acrylics etc xx

@@cameronmoorcroft4054 so I just use dehydrator and primer. For gel/builder gel I just use the dehydrator and apply this after prep and before application of the gel/builder. For acrylics I apply also after prep and before application I dehydrate and then prime xxx

Hiya, I'll try your tips with the biab. It's the first time when I work with biab, to be honest. I've done work with other builder gels and acrylics since I remember, but I feel like working with biab becomes a night mere. Apparently, it doesn't cure properly in sun uv/led lamps, the gel and colour separates in the bottles ( like oil and water) so I have to stear it to get correct uniform colour, and it's bubbling? - that's after curing. I've never seen the builder gel bubbling, but it apparently does, and I face all sorts of problems. Also, the application gets at times longer than it should 😕. Please help because as long as I am doing nails, I have never had problems like that.

So can I ask you apply builder straight on nail and not a base coat first ?

Yes. The gel bottle has built in base coats xx

Hey lovely! Thanks for the amazing tips. I’m really keen to start trying Biab at home so I’m going to purchase all the goods soon.
I’m just wondering if any uv lamp will work? I’ve seen through various tutorials that Biab has to be cured at low temp but just wondering if any lamps are better than others? And does it have to be a particular temperature? Gelbottle is going to soon sell their own Biab lamps for about 200 Australian dollars but that’s really out of my budget! I was wanting to get a cheaper lamp at the chemist.

Hey lovely! You need to be using the brands lamp or the brand BIAB you chose 🥰
They are made to work together and if you don’t use the same lamp you can risk under curing and that will open up risks to reactions xxx

    Hi Gee,
What base coat is suitable for biab? Can I use the base coat I use for my gel nails or do I have to use dehydrator and primer?
    Thanks ☺️

      Hey girl!!
Only white and clear BIAB needs a base coat. All your colour nude ones have built
In base coats! I always use dehydrator and yeah any base coat will be fine if your using a white or clear BIAB🥰🥰🥰

Plain BIAB is 40 mins with french/design or gel overlay I’d say an hour xxx
