Like your video. Here's some advice from a nail technician from Belgium. I learned to work with builder gel as follows: you gel 1 nail , for you your 2nd coat, you pop it in the lamp for 10 sec so the gel cannot run anymore. Then you apply 2nd nail. Same story. After 4 nails you pop them all 4 together for 90 sec as you mentionned. At the end of the total application you save some minutes. Hope you can do something with it. Bye bye!
I’ve just qualified and have been using this builder gel and it’s lifting constantly but my prep is correct. Honest feel so deflated with it I feel like I just can’t grasp builder gel with or without using tip extensions 😢x
Hi there, I’m loving your videos 😊thanks for making them so clear and easy to follow! I’ve only just discovered biab nails and only done it once on my 💅 which biab gel is the best for a deeper cover please as the one I used was also a bit see through? xx
@@thenailroombygee ah ok thanks that's all I wanted to know, it's just I had my nails done today which was supposed to he BIAB, i don't believe she has done them correctly as I was in and out in 15 minutes, the job is bad
Hey girl! I’ll still use the Glitterbels lamp if I’m setting any designs or anything on top of the BIAB! But if I do regular gel manis without the BIAB I’ll use my tgb one xxx
Hi chick 😊 just wondering if u have ever tried the Mylee 5in1 Builder Gel? I'm hoping to start offering BIAB to customers and ìve found Mylee products are more accessible and usually cheaper. But r they any good ??¿¿¿¿??????????¿¿ 😊😊😊
Hey lovely! I’m sorry I’ve not tried that one!😭😭 but if you join the nail tech awareness group on Facebook and type in the brand there will be loads of posts with opinions etc! Xx
Hi, do you mind me asking what do you cleanse the nail with after prep? And do you use the same product to remove sticky layer before refining? Thanks 😊
Do you flash cure upside down if so for how long? Used gbels for the first time today and it ran down towards the end of the nail and was quite opaque 😭 do you also use 2 thick layers to build colour of some colours x
Hey gal! I only flash cure upside down if I’m using a tip extension. Some colours are more opaque than others, that’s why I love cookie cream as the pigmentation is perfect! Try putting the builder in a cold bit of water this thickens it up and makes it easier to apply! Xxx
Hi are you capping the free edges or do you leave them? I’m not sure if I should be capping the free edge of biab and topcoat neither or both thank you
If you where just starting out your journey would you maybe get all your gel colours glitter bells too? I’ve only just started so only have a few TBG gels but find the biab so thick if I don’t have time to warm it up glitter bells looks much easier to work with x
Also I have a gel nails qualification but do you know if you have to go on a course for biab to get insurance or not as long as your using the right lamp ect xx
Hi! I just want to say I absolutely love your videos. Its very informative. With that being said, I'm an acrylic nail tech and would absolutely love to introduce biab to my services. However I've never actually done it, hence the reason why im doing research so I can learn as much as possible. I have a question and i hope you can help me. I saw you prepped your nails and apply dehydrator, however if I were to do this service, can a primer (example mia secret xtrabond) be applied after the dehydrator and then start to add the biab to the nail?

Aw thanks so much lovely!!
Cookie cream is my fave!!! The second thicker layer builds up such a lovely colour and not see through xxx
Your video is awesome, thanks for sharing. Just out of curiosity how long should BIAB take when doing them on a client
Thanks so much!!
A plain set takes me no more than 45 mins but all depends on experience! Xx
@@thenailroombygee so what's the minimum amount of time you would say it takes

My 180/240 file from Nõbu! X
Hi, lov this video!! Can I ask, can you use normal gel colours on top of the BIAB?? Thanks!!
Yes of course!🥰🥰🥰
Great!!! Thanks!!!
Do you have to use the glitterbels lamp because I don’t have one and I don’t know if I should buy it or not. Xxx
Hey lovely, yeah I do! It’s always best to set the product with the matching brand lamp x
Hii, i see you use the glitterbels lamp, but if you still use the gelbottle gelpolish do you use the same lamp or the one from the gelbottle?😊

Hi, do you mind me asking what do you cleanse the nail with after prep? And do you use the same product to remove sticky layer before refining? Thanks 😊
Hi lovely! Of course you can - I use acetone for both! Xx
Hi can you use nail tips then apply the builder gel?
Yes you can! X

Sorry I don’t understand do I need to apply top coat or I just can leave it as it is? Thank you
Yes top coat is needed x
Do you not put basecoat before BIAB?XX
Only with the hema free xx
How do you remove the glitterbels builder? Is it soak off? I looked on their website but it doesn’t say. Thanks!
Hey! Yeah it’s soak off❤️❤️
@@thenailroombygee awesome! Thank you so much
Hey lovely, what was the reason to swapping to glitterbels?x
Hey girl! Because of the reactions happening with tgb! I did a video on it not too long ago xx
Where did you get your little brush from to go round the nails? x
The fine liner is from Nõbu Salon Supplies🥰

Do I need to hydrate , prime and base coat 1st?
I just dehydrate with the black bottle xx

Hi thanks for the video very helpful
No problem! Glad you found it helpful 🥰🥰
What about size is it the same amount of builder 20 mil like The Gel Bottle?
Yeah they are the same size 🥰
Do you need base and top coat? X
You don’t need base coat but it can be used and top coat yes🥰x
Does this need a base coat?
Some do and some don’t just check on the bottle on any you purchase! X
You need to flash cure each nail straight away as it will run.
I do🥰

I don’t film me curing it’s boring 🤣 but I do!
Do you do this even on the second coat ? X

Glitterbels non wipe🥰🥰
what color are u using and is it soak off or hard gel?
I said in the video and showed the bottle, it’s cotton candy and it’s soak off😄

So with all the black bottle builder gels from glitterbells do we not prime and basecoat?
Do you not need base coat?

Can you not just apply thin layers like gel polish and build up the thickness that way ? rather than applying thin layer and then thick layer ?
I suppose you could but I’ve never tried it that way xxx
@@thenailroombygee i presume that way the gel will cure better without having the fear that it’s not cured properly because of the thickness xx
