    If you are like me then this will help
    Take Thiamine and Magnesium, the thiamine helps with OCD and claustrophobia and fear, and the magnesium helps with anxiety, they both help restlessness.
    I came off of valium on May this year after been addicted to Valium for years and I thought that was me stuck on these things, until I got so desperate I prayed to the Lord Jesus for deliverence, my prayer was answered through a sequence of events were I gained some knowledge about Thiamine deficiency which is bad enough but it also makes benzo withdrawal brutal, anyway I was tapering but I came to a halt then I started taking Thiamine and Magnesium Glycinate and in 7 months I was completely off of Valium and no nasty post acute withdrawals just total freedom from crippling fear, panic, terror thank God.

      @@pjprevite3021 When I was ready for my next reduction which I tried to do every 2 weeks, sometimes it would take 3 weeks,
      I broke a 5mg tablet in half and then I broke a little corner off of the half a tablet, roughly one 3rd of half a tablet, just a little crum off the end, so I was able to break a 5mg tablet into 6 pieces rather than breaking it into 4 pieces and this made things much easier, I could have made things even easier if I had got my hands on the 2mg tablets and tapered off of them rather than doing it with the 5mg tablets, the key is to taper very tiny amounts at a time as addiction is like a thick rope, and trying to break free without a major struggle is hard, however a rope is made up of lots of thin strands, we want to cut a little strand at a time and do this until there is one tiny strand left, and then the jumping off stage won't be difficult and thats what I did and it worked!, one tiny piece at a time.
      Ps
      Also I stopped drinking caffeine as i felt this made me anxious and I try to eat healthy as Im sure this helps, also I took Thiamine and Magnesium as a deficiency in these will make coming off benzos more difficult.
      Hope this helps you.

    New to your channel. I was on clonazapam for 2 years. 0.75 mg at bed for generalized anxiety disorder. Did a 6 month taper and was horrible. Wish i never took it. I havr been off for 28 months and still never have felt like i did prior to taking it. My biggest issue is that it has left me with chronic insomnia. Nothing has helped. At 55 im exhausted daily. I feel for anyone who has not felt the same after coming off!!

    It always confounds me when I hear these stories of people weaning off benzos who were taking them daily, and for years. You're not supposed to take them every day, and any doctor who prescribes them as such should have his medical license revoked. I have been taking Ativan here and there for years with months-long gaps in between doses. Take them as-needed to deal with occasional insomnia, or a stressful work schedule. Never take benzos as a first-line daily treatment for anxiety disorder because 1) you will end up with worse anxiety than before and 2) having to seek treatment for withdrawal symptoms. Benzos should only be used as an in-case-shit-hits-the-fan drug for transient stress.

    I've been talking benzos on and off the last 20 years. I rarely take them now but when I do I'll take.5 mg of clonezapam 2 times a day for maybe a week then quit. I'll still have withdrawal from such a low amount. 3-4 Days of bad anxiety, irritability, depression and can't sleep well. Point being I can take them occasionally and still have withdrawal

      You are spurring withdrawal akathisia my friend. That isn’t your normal withdrawal. I mean withdrawal akathisia is a component but you are getting it quickly. That feeling can become chronic and stay for years. Especially if you notice it quickly. It started happening to me like that. I wonder if you have any ugly fall off feelings from any other drugs/medications? The fall off from stimulants will do it. I happens when opiates wear off as well. Lots of interdose withdrawal akathisia. Anyway, I’m pretty sure I’m right about this. Benzo injury is real. I was crippled after coming off klonopin. No seizures, all tardive akathisia and other tardive madness. I must of stopped and started benzos a dozen times never realizing each time was become harder and more damaging. The damage was also lasting longer. I got really injured after “only” taking it twice a week and then letting the RX run out. Whoosh. Find the Benzodiazepine Information Coalition. Find Dr. Josef Witt-Doerring Psychiatry. See my friends stories. My friend Marcello just shared his story. My friend Mascha a well.

    Don't understand. Did the pharmacist mean the pills were not medicine but were placebos?

    • @glowgirl8171
      @glowgirl8171 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That was my thought, too. Either that or the pharmacist didn't think the pills were "Old school medicine"{ as in support from family and friends,more warmth and understanding}. If they were placebos, the prescribing doctors and the pharmacists could be sued on a massive scale. Abrupt w/d can cause gran mal seizures. It happened to me way back in the day when this stuff came out.

    My wife worked for many years in a pharmacy. Benzodiazepines are taken as needed. The way you are describing your prescription, it sounds like you were taking 0.5mg twice a day whether you felt you needed it or not. Is that the case?
    Anyone who is being prescribed clonazapam and they are taking it every day even when not experiencing anxiety, please consult with a second doctor. This is not the way this medication is meant to be taken and will likely lead to the addiction being described here by John.
