I'm not entirely sure. It might depend on what zip application you are using, and the fact that Raising the Bar has a lot of smaller files versus a moderate amount of large ones. Also your hard drive and RAM will play a part, too. I just did it again on mine with WinRAR, and it took maybe a minute or two.
I dont know how to do this everytime i download it and go into my downloads i see its icon is a zip file one on my computer but in your video the file is the books icon from winrar i really dont know how to do this do i have to open the zip file using winrar and then drag it into my source mods i dont know
So the first three things to try are: 1. Restart Steam 2. Restart your PC 3. Reinstall the mod from the zip file If none of these work, go to ...Steam/steamapps/sourcemods/RaisingTheBarRedux_Release and in that folder make sure you have the "gameinfo.txt" file. If the file isn't there, look in the zip file for it and add it to the main directory.
Here are some troubleshooting / general fixes to try. If none of these work, let me know: One potential problem is due to where Half-Life 2 / sourcemods is located on your computer. So, if the mod doesn’t show up in your library there are a couple things we can check. 1. Make sure that sourcemods is on the same logical drive as your installs for Half-Life 2, Episode One, and so on. If you have Half-Life 2 installed on C:\, install sourcemods on C:\ as well. If you have Half-life 2 installed on a secondary drive, like D:\, install sourcemods on D:\. 2. If you do have everything installed correctly like this and it is still not working, and you have Steam installed on a secondary drive, a gimmicky solution you can try is to copy your sourcemods directory and go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps and paste that sourcemods directory right there, also. Then restart your Steam and see if the mod shows up for you. 3. If you don’t know where your Steam installation is, an easy way to find it is to go to your Steam Library, right click on Half-Life 2 which hopefully you have installed already, go to Properties. On the left side, select “Local Files” And then go over to Browse. Now you can just go up the directories to steamapps, and there you go.

IT WORKED!!!
