Hey guys, I think its time for an Alter Bridge Series. You've probably already reacted to most of my favorites so I figured why not do one more song from each Alter Bridge album, oldest to newest and you can see how they've evolved. So here's song #1, which is the perfect place to start - their very first single from back in 2004. Enjoy!

This song was AB's coming out party. I actually heard it the first time in an EA Sports video game in 2004. Can't remember which EA Sports game it was, but I knew I had to know who this band was. 19 years later, here we are. Dudes are so unappreciated in the States. it's criminal really.

Most of these songs on One Day Remains were already written by Mark Tremonti before Myles joining the band. Blackbird was really the first album that introduced us to the "real" Alter Bridge.
I love all of their albums. But 'One Day Reamains' will album my favorite. It's probably my most played album of all time.
Actually, Myles did write some of the music on One Day Remain. For example, "Burn It Down".
One Day Remains still feels like the real Alter Bridge. There’s at least 5 hits on that album. Classic.
Mark Tremonti is THE MOST criminally and unjustifiably underrated guitarist of all time.
That guitar solo... I've rewound the song too hear it again so many time.
Yeah that guitar solo gives me chills. It's an epic guitar solo, especially in the era this song was recorded, when guitar solos were becoming much less common. Let alone ones like this.
That guitar solo is not a full version ... Check the same song with the extended version you will find out
Creed was good, but Atler Bridge (Creed 2.0 as I call them) are so much better. Myles is arguably one of the best vocalists ever! Tremonti is tremendous! The band's sound is so tight. They are severely underrated.
Now, if you really want to hear some GREAT stuff off their first album, do Shed My Skin and The End Is Here (live with the Parallax Orchestra). Pure gold.

Love Metalingus and Find The Real from this album. Love the whole album but those are probably my 2 faves.

I was hooked the first time hearing them in 2004. I saw them in Vegas their 1st tour and have been hooked since. This was when Mark didn't know that Myles was a guitarist.
So I knew nothing about Alter Bridge forming, but I remember turning on the radio around November 2004 and hearing this song for the first time. I heard the guitar riff, and I’m thinking somebody is lifting the Creed sound. Then I heard the solo, and I knew it was Mark Tremonti.
I’ve been an Alter Bridge fan ever since.
This song was most like Creed 2.0 with a better singer to me. They have written so much stronger music since, and I might skip this one EXCEPT… Mark Tremonti’s guitar solo just slays here so much!! Its always worth it! 💪💪

Susie & Travis i'm sure you already know Alter Bridge is Creed with Myles on vocals. Also if you listen to alot of Creed you'll notice the songs don't really have any ripping guitar solos. Thats because Mark wasn't very confident in his lead skills. When Creed called it a day Mark went to the woodshed by taking lead lessons from super shredders like Rusty Cooley. By the time he put Alter Bridge together his lead playing skills had become top notch as you heard in this song.
Mark didn't do guitar solos with Creed because that wouldn't suit their musical styles
