This is one of their earliest songs and one of the favorites they sing as an anchor at their concerts!! I think this is from One Day Remains, their debut album or maybe the Blackbird album. These guys don't get the recognition they deserve for how awesome they are!

Love Myles's voice so much. It's funny as my mother knows of him because of Slash and has seen them in concert a few times. I didn't realize when I was listening to a Slash song and Myles was singing that he was in Alter Bridge and I knew of them prior.

They tend to end a lot of their shows with this song. A fitting ending for an awesome show. Can't wait till April when I get to see them for the 1st time here in So. CA. It's going to be epic.
This is a simpler yet equally excellent song in the AB catalog. It's THE HIT single on their 2007 Blackbird album. Very anthemic and the obvious choice to close out their live shows every night for the entire decade. They've recently started ending the night on Open Your Eyes from their 2004 debut and I really dig that as well, react to Open Your Eyes if you haven't already preferably Live In Amsterdam!!

Been on My playlist since the first time I ever heard this song Everyone will probably ask you to play the most overplayed song of theirs called blackbird awesome song but way down my list of their best tunes they have a better catalog at your disposal For me playing anything by them is a win Blackbird is so over played it seems to the be song that people request and it’s gotten real repetitive an boring leads to a lot Of Tubers missing out on Alterbridge’s better stuff that being said You should play Blackbird live version it’s fricken awesome - I won’t watch it as I’ve seen it and I mean really seen it over 200 times -not kidding! But it truly is awesome For me personally Blackbird is you sit down for thanksgiving an mom brings out the greatest tasting Turkey you’ve ever had and will ever have only to find you gotta spend the next 3 weeks eating turkey sandwiches - kinda loses its taste
Members of Creed with way better singer. The music is also different and better / more interesting - than what they did in Creed. Eg. Tremonti has freedom to shred on guitar solos and more metal riffs, Kennedy also plays guitar (additional guitar) and also solos and writes approx half the songs, ‘flip’ on drums incorporates much more time changes , and Marshall on bass is rock solid as ever.
@@RB-oc7ti Mark shreds with Alter Bridge cause in the Creed days he didn't really know how to solo & wasn't confident in his ability to do so. When Creed folded he took the down time to take lessons on soloing from guys like Rusty Cooley. Myles is a great guitar player himself. Mark & Myles trade off on solos & a lot of times Myles takes the main solo especially on songs he writes. Great band & one of my faves.

The guitarist is Mark Tremonti who was also the guitarist for Creed, he is very good

This was my intro to Alter Bridge. But I didn't know who the band was, just liked the song. Been a fan ever since.
