Would love a episode on from when you first met, had the dream of sailing, making money to buy, purchase and costs, what you did in the couple of years before you lifted anchor and how you intend to sustain yourselves financially and your budget week to week. When you get to Lady M please look up the skipper/owner of Lady Musgrave Experience Brett. He is on of the most knowledgeable skippers on the east coast and Qld coast there is no where he has not been. Lovely bloke!

golden rule of boating. Never approach the dock faster than you want to hit it. We've all been there and done that a few times as new boat owners. You will find shallow water the hard way a few times too.
Hay dock kids. I personally think you are doing well with your sailing. & why do I think that? Because your doing it. It's my dream to sail on the same coast as what your doing right now. I want to sail into kangaroo point, I want to go to all the the nice stop off spots. So yes. Your both doing extremely well in my books. Setting goals, ticking boxes & making memories. Yeah it's scary everytime we've never driven our big boat into a marina ever, but have driven other boats out for mates lol we made our swing mooring at Bribie and just sit perfect out the front 😅😊
You guys are very cute couple, reminds me of hubby and I when we met over 13yrs ago 😅🥰 now we have kids and have upgraded our boat 3 times from half cabin to 23ft Chugger to 47ft motor yacht if we knew we'd sail Australia we would have bought a catamaran but we aren't rich lol so just do the hard yards ❤❤

We hire a dock at spinnaker marina for our tinny so we don't always have to take the trailer etc but that like a small tinny not a massive boat to move we'll have fun guys xo Jacinta

Here is some free advice from an old timer. If you can maintain this lifestyle, treasure it. I'd give anything to go back in time and do exactly what you are doing. Living a minimalistic lifestyle off the grid. To be able to find a secluded beach and run naked in the surf with no worries. Never grow up it's a trap. Just sayin. Love each other to the fullest and never look back.
