I'm sorry, but "HUH???" However, I was impressed by the emotional range of the actor portraying Dr. Dyer. Still, the film was very hard to follow, largely because it was often difficult to tell what "Dr. Dyer" was saying. Someone made the comment that "Anna" saved him, but I saw no indication that Dr. Dyer was saved, or that Anna was any help to him at all. Your intro mentions some ancient malicious force, but I honestly saw very little indication of its presence, and no indication (except for the ominous alien sky at the end) of what it wanted or whether or not it succeeded. Strange.
I'm pretty sure that the piece is exploring the probabilities of outcome suggested by quantum mechanics. The world he enters at the end is just one of infinite versions of our own. Its a beautiful world; ready to be explored and thus, the film ends on a positive note.
Schrödinger then..basically means that the situation cod be anything, and only when one o se ver looks at it, the possibilities "collapse" in one single situation. So for example...the guy cloud be either on Earth, or on another planet, or in the middle of a sun...until the event happens (the fusion he talks about that is times.....that functions here as "the Observer", and suddenly among the different choices, one is selected : the one in which he finds himself on that alien planet.
Amazing idea, acting and work. Congratulations! Absolutely fantastic! She saved him.....I love the ending so much, the music and the humming, hope and disturbance.
This was a really nice movie. I interpreted in a different way though than others in the comments. My version of the story is that only he had been transported onto a different planet. However reading their interpretation I realized that it could be that the entire planet was transported, through a warm hole or singing similar...basically in a compketely different part of the universe. The fact is that, the probability that am entire planet travels and falls into the perfect position where gravity and dissuade from stars male or so that the planet does not freeze or burn instantly... I mean we have quite an qequilubrium of a situation where we are. Then, there is the Schrödinger cat. That one itself gives rise to even more interpretations.
My theory is that of the many worlds' theory, like the cat being alive and dead in another universe At some point he says he's the cat Another time he's dead But maybe the catharsis to do with him coming to terms with him transports him to a more happy ending universe, that I don't know..but all in all I love the ending
I'm trying pretty hard to understand the ending. And I noticed the writting on the wall, which (if I'm right,) says, "aucun devire nous ne verra la ciel." Which is french, but I'm having a hard time translating it. I think it might say "None deviate us from seeing the sky," or "None will turn to see us in the sky." But I'm probably wrong. Can anyone help me out?
SPOILER ALERT SO DONT READ. . . . . . . . . . . . So....they essentially doomed the world via CERN? It shows what looks like a galaxy nearby. Does this mean whatever experiment they did ripped space and time apart and brought galaxies and horrors to our corner of the universe?
Another wonderful offering. Beautifully shot and paced and so well played. There's more heart, skill and craft to this simply and well told tale than a thousand predictable Jump Scare Franchise Horror films. Thanks for this!
I’ve been a dan of weird fiction and cosmic horror tropes for a few decades. But I have to admit this short movie, nicely executed as it was, completely lost me as far as its story goes.
Interesante.
This like a typical day in my office: everything going to hell, time running out and not a pen that works anywhere...

He really embodied insanity. And that green circle in the sky is beautiful.
Yeah, the actor did a fantastic job!
That's powerful! Haunting and unsettling beyond words. These cosmic horror films are some of the best! Keep up the great work!
We're so glad you found it powerful!
This gives me serious "Into The Radius" vibes. That's high praise!
That is high praise. Thanks!

Outstanding! Truly captures the essence of Cosmic Horror
The music at the end...😮😮😮
Kenny was the best Schrödinger's Cat, that I’ve ever seen!

That's the plan open the abyss. The Mist.
Now you know how the cat feels!
This video is extremely well made, I am impressed at how much you did with really so little!
This was an amazing movie! Keep up the good work, you guys motivate me!!!
Thanks for watching!
It looks like a portal was opened in the sky letting madness inside.
Something was definitely opened.
Very well played! Great acting in this!
Glad you enjoyed it!

That's the impression I got. The scene with the pen hints at that.
Really enjoy your films, and Jonathan D. Mellor gives an amazing performance in this one! Well done all around!
Thanks, Sally! Yeah, he did a great job in this!
Fantastic acting!!!
This man is a great actor!
He sure is!
….I’ve had reoccurring dreams like this…
Without a soundtrack of course….
This was not a bad film but how come these short films are better than the film's on the big screen
Thanks for watching!
It’s a phenomena that scientists today still can’t explain….
Aw not the cat 🐈⬛
Nice

That's amazing! Keep up the good work 👍

Awesome stuff !!!!😈👍
Thanks for watching!
@@CosmicFilms_TV No problem!🙂👍
i actually felt bad for the poor cat 😢
Yup. Poor kitty.
I didn't understand the ending.
Someone explain to me please?
As Marge Simpson once said, "It's an ending; that's enough.
Central European time? That's like a ton of timezones? There is no.. central European time?
loved it
We're glad you enjoyed it!
Cosmic Horror Always Cosmic Horror
Always!
it was very okay... But it had potential and I hope you guys keep making shorts!
Well, let's just hope scientists in real life don't do anything stupid that will become our demise.
Let's hope!

Opening cosmic doors is a bad idea...
It always is!
subtitles option would have been appreciated for non-native english
Nice atmosphere and visuals, anyway
😎
Thanks for watching!
Well done. It's best to not understand everything presented.
is this not the guy from movie rec 2?
It is! He played Dr. Owen in Rec 2.
@@CosmicFilms_TV cooll :-)
This person has clearly not read The Cats of Ulthar. X3
Tomska Orb and pit are scarier.😶
I liked when the cat got taken. Otherwise I found it a bit slow and over dramatic.
I loved the setting of the old abandoned warehouse. That was beautiful. However i wasnt impressed by thecending. It was very anticlimatic.
Quantum Supersition
I really like your videos, but the lack of subtitles (even auto-generated ones) makes for an unnecessary challenge.
Understood. This is something we’re trying to fix for future videos.
@@CosmicFilms_TV That's great to hear! (Pun intended.)
👎
Sorry you didn't like it, Aida. Thanks for checking it out anyway!
Terrible acting. So many in comments loved his acting and that's why you will always get mediocre talent. 😓
I have to disagree with that. I think he did a great job.
Yes he did a great job. I have no idea from where the negative comment came but...well. Everybody had the right to their own opinion I guess
