Very slow. But that is exactly how HPL described the descent into madness to be.

I liked this one, nice pacing, tense atmosphere and they actually give you a little glimpse of the terror.

I'm trying pretty hard to understand the ending. And I noticed the writting on the wall, which (if I'm right,) says, "aucun devire nous ne verra la ciel." Which is french, but I'm having a hard time translating it. I think it might say "None deviate us from seeing the sky," or "None will turn to see us in the sky." But I'm probably wrong. Can anyone help me out?

I think the key was in the opening few minutes, 3 to 4 minutes, when the priest was tapping on the window calling out Henwicks name, when Henwick came out of another door, the priest took a double take of where HE thought Henwick was, to where Henwick ACTUALLY was........

Excellent work! Each time H.P. Lovercraft is involved no matter if its just mentioned...the film always is something to think about. By the way, nice touch with the name of the beers.

I assume that a lot of the weird perspectives that sometimes make it not immediately obvious what parts of a shot are background or foreground was intentional. It's a great way to express the bewilderment aspect of Lovecraft.

Losing a child is the most horrifying thing - no ghost,monster or "Eldritch" horror could be more terrifying.

This was spooky from begining. Actors really convincing.
