    My own opinion is that I am very happy with Spurs. I do not see a crisis. I do not see any major issues with players. What I do see is a side evolving and, let's get this cliche out of the way, winning games when they aren't ticking like a Rolls Royce.
    The Arsenal game was what it was; a game against one of the best teams in the league that are a few years ahead of us with their manager. So what did I see there? We conceded from a set piece and other than that they didn't really threaten or dominate. I also saw an amazing performance by a parsimonious Gooner defence who conceded few goals last season. So not a disaster then!
    Our way forward will be seen in an improving goal difference stat. In the meantime, I am loving the football, loving the youngsters who are brilliant and loving the fact the manager knows where he wants to go and how he wants to get there.

    Individually we have some fantastic players and talent but there still a new team. Takes time to instinctively know what each player will do son and Solanke are definitely playing well together and Johnson is fantastic. They need time we will get there madison is key and plays well every game. They have been sloppy they need to concentrate more stop back passing so much.

      There's a famous video highlight of Ange screaming,"Stop f*cking the ball back!!". Can't remember when or which team. Did it with Spurs recently too, from memory.
      If you accept that his tactic is to keep pressing, like us older supporters do, then the current players still have some way to go.

      Some of the media / rival fans gave us that name as they and the premier league reckon any history pre-prem league is irrelevant. The board are responsible for this, largely as they (still) won't match the likes of City re. money / budgets. We have capitulated late in the season when players are injured and replacements aren't as good. Hence then now investing and promoting in youth players (Gray, Bervalle, Moore etc). We all know the 'Spursy' tag is silly, just as the 'yid' tag in the 70/80s. We've always been hated since (our success in) the 60s.

If you're not performing, use it to your advantage as Johnson has fair play to him. He's an example to just getting down and getting on with your job. I don't think you guys can ever be happy bunch of sad fans. Id like to be any team but my team man u right now, if you guys can win that game they will be third faves to win the comp. Simple analogy: When you go to a game, is it like going to a funeral, or a wedding?
      Just do some research on Ange's days coaching Brisbane Roar, and Celtic.
      You'll understand then that Spurs are not quite there yet. You might say,"Ahhh, but the English League is the toughest in the world!" Maybe, so Ange needs a little bit more time. But he and Spurs will get there. Trust me.

    Fans from all clubs for many years will comment on how a players form is or how the previous game went. What do half the fan base want ? - total silence or happy clappy denial that all is rosy ? , Vic is a superb shot stopper but is his all round game good enough to challenge the top 3 ? Pep and Arteta both were rutlhless with their choice of keepers unil they got the right one.

    • @indianastones6032
      @indianastones6032 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Nobody said it was all rosy. But to deem a game as a must win game.....and gotta win it by playing good football. Yet when that happened agwinst brentford, that still wasnt good enough! The last three games whefe must win to prove that were getting somewhere. That happens and now fans are moving the goalposts to the man u and brighton games are must win and will prove if were getting somewhere. Criticism is fine but when it used just to prove a point for their narrative or moaning just for the sake of moaning, that is taking the piss to be honest. If someone told yoy to do something and once you do, that person then starts " yeah, but ya didnt....... " and they keep doing it game after game, how would you be my little cherub???
