I myself in general just lower the screen brightness while using an IPS screen here for my pc since a few years back.
As the back light of a lcd panel is aimed at your face shining through the layers of the monitor pretty much.
If you sit often in the evenings you can certainly make use of lowering the screen brightness too together with these glasses.

I figure everyone and their mother knows this by now but an interesting tidbit with PT is that once you pick up the flashlight, Lisa is always behind you
Technically, she will be behind you after you proceed to the next loop after picking up the flashlight. If you stand in front of the lamp in the hallway you can see her shadow on the wall. And of course there's the double footstep sound when you walk and her breathing noises. There is a glitch where she will start to stalk you in the starting room (I believe it happens if you close the game during the stalking/radio loop). She can even attack and kill you there!

Seeing the PT one reminds me of such a missed opportunity it was.
While it may just be a safety precaution so you don't get stuck, watching this show for a while made me feel like the game KNEW you were snooping around and decided lil' old Shesez has seen too much.

its not to usually for game to put in kill barriers if the player gets to far out of bound.
sometime its a quality of life thing like if a player in a FPS get knocked of the map the game would kill the player instead of having the player watch a never ending fall or teleport them back onto the map but that kind of system can break itself so killing the player is usually safer.
second is that it will help against game logic corruption from the player moving so far away that things break (older Minecraft and the far land).
I think the game always plays that animation when you die because they never considered there would be a way to die by not being through Lisa's hands.

There is also a similar technique used in Slender: The Arrival, where the game punishes the player with a jumpscare if they try going out of bounds.

@@TayoEXE I would have to disagree. both Mario and Peach are in this scene; so it isn't surprising to see that there sprites are in the upper right corner by mistake. But my point is that, to me, this video does not meet the same standard of quality of his other videos. I am disappointed with this video.

The Gabe room is so good, that's one of the funniest things I've seen out of bounds.
When I played A Wolf Among Us a couple years ago, in a certain scene it glitched out, and restarted to a few scenes before, but the characters that died were gone, and all you could hear were their voices, then when I went back to the scene I was in before, my character was just a floating head, and in the cut scene, one of the characters that lost her head, was saying her lines without her head, her head was laying there with it's mouth moving. It was absolutely terrifying.

I love Gunnar glasses personally and I have been wearing them for a very longtime. I love the styles they have up on offer. However, if I ever lose them or if they break I will check out this company's selection.

For those that didn't play hat in time, those plushes next to the knife are characters from the murder mystery level where you try to solve a stabbing. So not ENTIRELY wholesome, but certainly cuter than the actual level where the knife sticking out of a corpse that's sitting in a pile of blood

Hat Kid's Toybox is filled with unused beta and alpha models, including a tv-headed man we sometimes refer to as the narrator (also goes by Mr TV), One of Hat Kid's robotic assistants, the sandworm, a character from the cut Sand n Sails chapter, a melon that would have been something the player needed to acquire an item in an early 2013 version of the game, an egg with a fedora on it, which was part of a mission on the moon that was actually left over in the 1.0 build of the game and has been turned into a mod by one of my friends, and an escape pod that would have originally been seen underneath the stove in Hat Kid's kitchen, which would have been used to launch the player into levels.

My guess for why the Hat Kid has a knife in her toybox is that it's a reference to "The Binding of Isaac". In TBOI, Isaac's mom tries to kill him with a knife, so he hides in his toybox for safety.
