Deck Nine has shown as much love for the LiS franchise as its original creators. The original will always be special, but this game is an improvement in almost every aspect and is great in all its own rights.

The problem was that because of some "bullying" themes and "lesbian" themes and being "introverted" themes and "all adults are bad" themes in the background (it wasn't a big part of the game at all) it attracted a certain type of audience and now the games have gotten woke to the point where it's just boring because that's the audience that LiS caters to now. The first game was made for adventure gamers of all ages. Everything that came after was made purely for depressed teenagers.

Lol I'm pretty sure that's where they're leading up to. If you notice - all the characters with superpowers are alive in all their endings. Not to mention- in one of the endings in Life is Strange 2, we get to see 15 years later which would be Year 2032. Daniel is sitting at the campfire with Sean telling him of all the adventures he went on. I'm assuming that could be the game where all the MCs meet up. They'll probably do it after 1 or 2 more normal Life is Strange games. Then an "Avengers" LiS game afterwards

Honestly, this 100% The original game had a charm and aesthetic than neither the prequel nor LiS 2 matched. True Colours managed to return to form and bring back the nostalgic emotional rollercoaster and escape fantasy while bringing some serious questions through the choices in the game.

It’s $80 for the Ultimate which comes with both Gen versions. Wavelengths DLC and Life Is Strange Remastered. For an Ultimate Edition the $80 is justified. If Ubisoft were behind this it’ll either be $149 to $199 price tag.

Choices don't matter in the long run though. Either way, THAT ending is reached, and then it becomes an ending based off of who you chose to love. You can get everyone to hate you but justice is still served. And then everyone apologises. The game is amazing overall but the endings definitely felt linear compared to the wonderful LIS2 four completely different endings
It's so strange that people somehow don't understand how story based games work. The ending isn't the payoff. It's about the journey to get there and how that story is told all throughout. You get a different story depending on the choices made. Just because the element of justice appears in every variant, doesn't mean there isn't variation to the story. The conclusion to the story is achieved in different ways.

Before the Storm and LiS 2 did a slightly better job making the story more non linear. Do the choices made in True Colors have many significant impacts other than some minor dialogue changes? Not necessarily, only changes the flavor text of certain scenes. Sound scary but all it means is that the endings are minor variations of the same thing.

Steph has shown more emotion around alex than ryan has
Steph first seeing Alex in the Record Shop, Steph comforting Alex during the wake, Alex cheering steph up during the bedroom scene, Steph having Alex's Back no matter what, Steph and alex talking about Ethan, Alex and stephs cute moment during the LARP with Alex asking for stephs hand in marriage to the kiss, to Steph being concerned about alex's well being to asking Alex out and either leaving haven springs or staying (Leaving is the better choice because you are freeing Steph from her bind to Haven Springs)

This game has some true blood things with it, mind reading and owning a bar, and Sam merlant close to Sam Merlot, haven’t gotten far in it but it’s intriguing
