Ya know the deaths are ironic to their names "droid bait" dies getting shot up like bait so the others can get away, "cut up" gets cut up by the monsters teeth, "Heavy" gives a heavy sacrifice so the others can escape alive, "echo" the sound of Fives screaming echo sounded off for a lot of people when a character that you thought would last for the rest of the show just gets cut off, and "Fives" the fifth member of domino squad to die

Well I thought of the Clone troopers as you did, but I still keep remembering order 66. And then I'm losing my respect for the clones. But now I'm pretty splitted since I'm at season 6 in the clone wars series.

99 had the most tragic death in my opinion. I know it's just a cartoon and I've never felt emotional about a cartoon character dying but 99s death hit me hard. He was always a soldier ready to fight for his brothers.

We saw explosions and a ship flying away when Gregor "died". So there was room for him to get out alive.
Echo was jumping on a ship getting hit with laserfire, and as it exploded his helmet was shown on the ground, charred and cracked. Even if his head wasnt in that helmet, it would be severly burned, concussed, or probably in several pieces.
Echo is dead. If he lived he would be with Rex, Wolf, and Gregor.

+Margaret Travers Actually, Rex just trusted FIves. Kix, the medic clone, followed up on Fives' investigation and discovered the truth, but was captured by Seppies and frozen. Then, over 50 YEARS LATER (At the time of TFA) he was unfrozen! The Clones are still kicking!

Second, we're looking through Fives' point of view as he recalls memories of his fallen comrades. Another thing, the reason that Hevy, Droid bait and Cut Up died so early on in the series is because it's a war, and unfortunately, there are casualties in war.

These men were born in a world where their only purpose was to fight and fight some more. However as time passed by, these men soon received something we have lost long ago; bravery, loyalty, kindness and honor. These men, These Dominoes were more than just protectors, they were our foundations.
Regrettably, they were cut down, not in the field of battle but by corruption and deceit formed long ago by an ancient cult who planned to conquer the Galaxy and subjugate the people that lived here.
While all may seemed lost but the last one did something. Something that no senator, no Jedi could ever do during that time; changing destiny. His sheer determination uncovered this sinister plot and planted the seeds that would one day and will overthrow this terrible regime.
Let's pray and honour his sacrifice along with his brothers. The Dominoes fall but their Legend lives on.

I want to enjoy Rebels but the main characters seem too generic to me. Typical Disney mini show characters.
The locations are sparse and not very populated.
Season 2 looks a bit better but it's got a lot of redeeming to do.

The hero is a moppy haired poster boy who keeps looking out to the sky. I half expect Esra to break into a bloody Disney song.
The inquisitor had no susbstance like Ventress, Grievous or just about any villain from Clone Wars.
Hopefully team Rebels have done their home work. I mean to be fair, Clone Wars didn't get off the best start.
+stufaman in its defense, I think Clone Wars' start was decent. It picked up where the movie ended, although I found it a bit confusing since they just started doing random mission. In the end, we were able to dive a little deeper into the star wars universe.
Rebels doesn't give off that vibe to me. It just feels like a silly show(so far).
This is what I love about The Clone Wars. You look at Domino Squad, they're all clones, physically identical, same voice actor, for all intensive purposes, most people would just make them cookie cutter characters. But here, we see they actually are able to turn clones into individuals.

Furious Dominator they were called domino because they were the 4th squad, and they followed the alphabet for squad names, with the 4th letter being D. All the squads were given their names as soon as the squad was formed. They didn't change the name to fit how they act. They probably would have been named Delta squad if there wasn't already a very famous and well known Delta squad in the Star Wars universe.

Coming back to this , after watching season 7 and seeing that echo is alive is crazy....
Echo and Hevy died the most honorably...
and the other two who died, well, one just got shot and the other got eaten by a giant worm monster, poor guys

Great line, huh? It's crazy the amount of combined lines you can do when every clones sounds more or less the same. That particular line is a mix of Rex saying "They were my family...my home" talking to Cut Lawquance (who has the other half of the beginning speech" and the "My brothers" was 99 saying "I remember all my brothers" when he recognizes Fives and Echo on Kamino.

You all do realize that Fives died thinking he was the last of Domino squad when really Echo was still alive but was being held captive. Then when Echo finally is saved and comes home, he most likely found out from Rex that Fives died and realizes the same thing Fives did. That he was the last of Domino squad.

It would be amazing if Disney t amed up with HBO and created a band of brothers style clone wars series. Focus on a squad in 501st or some other battalion and just focus on the clones and their lives and just clones.

No, modern infantry troops use fire-and-maneuver, in which part of the unit provides covering fire and the other part moves forwards. Then, they swap over. The whole squad doesn't run forwards at the same time, and in general nobody fires their weapon while running.

I really did like Domino Squad, and I wish that we could of had more episodes with them. In addition, I believe that Domino Squad would've had a much better story if Cut Up survived until the Battle of Kamino. Then Cut Up would've died, either in a heroic way or just another causality of the Clone Wars. This way, there would be a death in the squad almost every time they showed up. This would give tension when watching, hoping that the remaining squad mates would survive. I truly believe that this would be better than just killing off three out of the five members at the very beginning.
They all served the Republic well, time for them to rest in peace.

Echo didn't actually die though, Because disney had the Clone Wars cancelled we didn't get to see a lot of things, including seeing Echo again

ARC Troopers in TCW don't seem to be the same ones seen in the comics. Echo and Fives were inducted into an "ARC Trooper training program" that presumably took the best troopers and trained them for specialty missions such as The Citadel.
