His son is also a drummer, Hideki Aoyama (青山英樹), who is now active worldwide from The Eastern Kami Band, supporting the shows of BABYMETAL. He is a well-known musician in the pop-rock scene of Japan. The guiarist is Yoshiyuki Sahashi (佐橋佳幸), also famous musician in the pop-rock scene of Japan. The another guitarist with the chorus at the end part, he is Tatsuro Yamashita (山下達郎). He is a husband of Mariya. He has been so popular singer and song writer since 70s in Japan. As for Toki, Aoyama, (and Ito), they were all early members of my favorite fusion bands in Japan, such as 'Naoya Matsuoka & Wesing' and 'PRISM' in late 70s-80s. I found out Mariya Takeuchi is married to Tatsuro Yamashita, another amazing singer and composer. I found people like Anri and Junko Yagami. I even stumbled across idols like Wink and Babe. Then I found some sad stories like Miki Matsubari and Reiko Nakahara. But overall I'm glad I got to hear their music. I did read in an interview with Takeuchi she was flattered that a new generation of people around the world discovered and found an appreciation for her music.

He was truly an American musical treasure and a fabulous sax player! We just lost him (this past May, I believe).
