what an amazing lesson and you explain things so well and your videos/animations are top notch. Probably the best tilt'n'stack instructor I've found! Great work :)
Thanks again I’m a big fan of your videos. I’m a golftec student and I’m also reading the same book. You have mentioned in this and prior videos . What I’m a bit confused about is the difference between golftec method vs stack and tilt method. Could you please describe the difference and do you suggest to follow both methods of golf swings at the same time. Thanks in advance and keep it going.
So we try to stay centered without going to far forward with weight about 60 % on front leg at setup and progressive transferring of weight/pressure through impact ? I trying this swing and so far so good. I just ordered the book.
Love this . I think your most important comment needs to be emphasised more . Feel and Real. it feels as if you are leaning to far forward when you are not if you are new to this method. The answer i think is to video yourself and try and connect up feel and real.
Tommy Armour used to say that your weight should always stay on your front foot. I think he did pretty well with that philosophy. Good balance and no reverse pivot.
Feelng steep exactly is what a new SnTer faces and hit too much in-to-out. With the release of the left hand (PA1), in dsw is the head allowed to move a little bit toward the target and backward after extention of the shoulders? Cheers!
When you say keep the majority of the weight in the lead leg ( weight forward ) it tends to make you lean that way giving feeling of reverse tilt please advise
Try and think of the body as 2 centers for the weight, 1 for the head, and one for the hips. The weight is referencing the hips. A good example to look at is Zach Johnson who keeps his lower body weight forward but doesn't lean towards the target in the backswing
Hey Nick, I am not sure if you have any videos regarding the flying wedge or how you implement the flying wedge but it looks like you are releasing the angle through impact. Additionally, does holding that position as prescribed by the model, the most effective way to produce speed through the strike or is it irrelevant. Can you please show a video regarding this concept & if possible to demonstrate it with an iron & also the driver? Thanks
Good question I often practice flying wedge drills as this is something I personally struggle with. Every good golfer maintains some degree of right wrist bend at impact
@@NickTaylorGolf Hey Nick, thanks for the response. The reason why I bring this up is because the video you often show of Rickie has him illustrating that angle at impact & I think one of DJ also shows the flying wedge. The one big difference is they actually release it after impact. In the DVDs I purchased when Mike & Andy first brought out the S&T, they prescribe that it was important to maintain that angle into the follow through. I believe they are borrowing this idea from The Golfing Machine(which I havent read yet but intend to). Perhaps this would be a video that you could give a detailed demonstration of & would not only help me but also other players struggling with face control through impact. Thanks
I tried the stack and tilt a while back, I didnt sway but I had the sensation of reverse tilt. Maybe I was doing it and maybe I wasnt. Either way, I abandoned it and went back to conventional. After watching this, I may give it another go.
You need to lower your head in the downswing. You are way too stationary with your head. Look at the club at impact, it is out racing the hands. This is due to you not using ground forces.

Thanks Mark, Rob isn't bad either
Now, this is what has made my mind up, the head must keep still in that circle. Nick, thank you very much.
It will certainly help Frank
great video dude! Cant wait to start making content down there.
Thanks mate see you soon 🇸🇬🏌️
Been working on this swing for several months now.... have improved my ball strike consistency and accuracy. Thanks Nick
That’s awesome Mike 👏🏽
Perfect clarification on the head position Nick
Thanks Drew
Nick, do you have a video on the side bend during the downswing?
This does a little th-cam.com/video/HDya4FoPClY/w-d-xo.html
Or this one th-cam.com/video/45EhWy9pxKY/w-d-xo.html
very very good video thank you
Thanks Brian

I use the Stack & Tilt system every lesson but with the help of the motion numbers at GOLFTEC therefore there is no difference in my opinion

Yes that’s right Andrew, the book is great
Hi. What is the S&TS equal to page 125 (feet location and ball position) in Ben Hogan's Five Lessons: The Modern Fundamentals of Golf? Thank you

Yes thats true Bob, the feel will be different for each individual
In your very early videos on S&T you moved your weight to the left to make sure on consistent contact, has that changed since moving to GOLFTEC?
No still start with the weight left at setup and focus on a centered turn as always - no shift to the right 🏌️♂️

When i drop my left shoulder i feel like it makes me lean to far forward . I end up like your 2nd swing
Yes your overdoing it George, that's the point of the video it's easy to overdo

Which iron are you hitting here ?
Mizuno MP-20 MB 7 iron
Do your arms feel numb after wearing the sensors? Looks like they're compressing your thoracic nerve bundle.
Haha no they are elastic so have some give, I like to put them on tight so they don’t move when I’m filming

You should definitely give it another go, preferably find a S&T instructor to help you

How is it outracing if his angle of attack is perfect?
👍🏻
So the ninja Tom Saguto is wrong 😂
Tom knows his stuff so I'm not sure what your referring to?
