At the end of the video we aree shown a scene with Leblanc and Vladimir in a scene that ties together the entire cinematic. Firstly Vlad points out that their previous mission in Piltover was not successful by illuding to the chaos brought about by the last endeavor and argues they should refocus their organizations efforts by focusing on Mel as an asset, indicated by his focus on the glyph of the wolf with the Medarda symbol that comes into focus. Leblanc dismisses his complaints about the Piltover intervention by pointing out that unknown elements can change or ruin any plan. This then is when Vlads true reason for undermining Leblanc's decision making in the previous sentence is revealed, he believes her new plan is much more ruinous, that being purposely making a Darkin host combination. Vladimir is incredibly reluctant to pursue this having seen the Darkin first hand as a slave to one. His entire magic of hemomancy was derived from them. He knows how powerful and dangerous they are. The symbol Leblanc is contemplating looks like a knife with an eye on it which is incredibly similar to the design of Nefiri. In Nefiri's lore we know that the person who attempted retrieving her took care in never touching the weapon, as if they knew what it was. Leblanc states it is time for drastic action which I believe in this case was bonding Nefiri with Katarina. I believe that the assassination was planned by the Black Rose as a test/trap for Katarina. Firstly Leblanc draws her symbol for Katarina prior to her even being near the target. Secondly the eye imagery match cut to the occulus of the dance floor prior to the assassination showing Leblanc watching prior to the assassination attempt. Notice how we never cut back to Katarina after Elise revealed her true form? We are never shown her safe or given any finality to her scene. I believe that the Black Rose captured her and want to bond her with Nefiri. They want a person incredibly experienced with knives and fighting so that when they are bonded to Nefiri they will become a unrivaled assassin. Unfortunately they will fail to retrieve the knife as it instead will bond to a pack of dogs.
I mean you could argue that vladimir is talking about a demon considering he and leblanc would know about ATAKHAN and TYBAULK both are former servants of mordekaiser, In my theory is that while tybaulk was sealed in the teddy bear and is past down to annie, But ATAKHAN was sealed by leblanc and this is what vladimir is hinting about knowing how they're going "too far" summoning atakhan, and this will make sense considering ATAKHAN would be in the game. does it make sense it is my own theory tho
@@ljestember4942 That's a possibility I did not consider, so thanks, that said I cant imagine Vladimir having such a reaction to the Demons, especially ones they know they can seal, since they did it before. It could be a more powerful demon like say reawakening Fiddle ... that could be causing such reaction On the other hand a Darkin is just as likely to get such a reaction from Vlad, while LeBlanc remains almost nonchalant, there is as far as I know no lore indicating she experienced the Darkin Wars, Vlad has, he is eminently aware of how powerful they are, and that they were only stopped by Celestial intervention.
The “dagger” at the end appears to be broken (see how the ink stops forming a line) kind of like Riven’s blade is. I’d bet it’s Riven as LeBlanc wants her sword and managed to convince Boram to invade Ionia for that.
le blance was in the dance hall. she's the one with the multiple faces mask, migh be one of her puppets and she observe he dance through those eyes, she also painted Katarina fighting Elise on the white wall afterwards
Good catch for the raven and trundle hiding in the script/symbols haha The biggest mystery of this cinematic for me is Darius vs Trundle.. not in a way, why are they fighting and where, but exactly when? It seems as if we get a glimpse of what was [Darius vs Trundle], is [Mel arriving] and will/could be [Katarina vs Elise]? But that still makes me wonder of that fight, why is Darius so young, Trundle kinda small.. and wouldn't Darius lose his hand for that much damage from true ice? I get he didn't hold Trundle's club.. and that the damage is just from the remnants of it on his own axe, but still.. that hand ain't looking too good
SHOT IN THE DARK - For some time now I felt there was a lineage tie in with Mel and Senna. Perhaps a mother-daughter situation at some point. Given Mel's powers, her history, and the history of her family, I could see her at some point becoming a leading figure in forming the Sentinels of the Light. IF - IF - that is the case.... Could this eye symbol be some how tied to the Shadow Isles and or the Ruination? Now, before people jump all over me - the Ruination has already been explored at the Senna roll out and it was a big event. I understand. HOWEVER - From an investment standpoint, that tells me that this could be a good business decision for Riot. They know it was a hit, it takes current characters and allows for a segway to other ones and even allows the introduction of new ones.
I'm just watching the Welcome to Noxus dev update and had to pause at 1:11. Doesn't the central dagger-like symbol in the red glowing halo Atakhan has look kinda similar to the symbol in the cinematic?
After comapring the two, I don't think so. But Atakhan's "halo" is also made out of the same Noxian-looking characters so maybe there's a connection anyway, gotta wait for his comic which comes out tomorrow 🤔

Its either riven's blade or something that hasnt been introduced yet. There is no way thats naafari's dagger.
The shapes also dont match rivens blade at all, so its probably the latter of the two
