    - What is Pilates -
    Pilates Workouts are effective no matter if you move at home on the mat or in the Pilates studio. This video quickly explains what Pilates is and how Pilates can help to strengthen, stretch and mobilize the body with a consistent Pilates practice.

    * A lot of the exercises combine strength, stretch and mobility, making Pilates effective and challenging.
    * Breathing deeply through each class is recommended to make the class more beneficial.

    Hello. I am a beginner and I took the email about sending me the breathing exercise. I love Pilates and I can't stand yoga. I find yoga exercises really difficult for me . Someone must be already strong in order to e execute the yoga exercises. But with Pilates I feel reborn I don't have headaches afterwards and I feel stronger from inside. It is exactly what Josef Pilates said " Back to life"
    Thank you for all your videos. They are great and really help me 🇬🇷🇬🇷🙋‍♀️😍

    Very good explanatory video. Liked the slow motion bits - I had never noticed before how you positioned your feet in the roll over sequence. Why I do Pilates with you- great instruction, variety, keeps me fit as I get older to continue doing other the other things I love doing like hill walking. Specific exercise sequences also help address specific problems. Thanks as ever.

    Very helpful video! I love Pilates!!! I do Pilates because it's sooo soothing to me! After doing Pilates I feel like I've had a whole body gentle massage! A warm cozy hug for your body!😊😊🥰🥰🥰🥰

    Hi mam. I really like your Exercises and demonstrations.A small question I would like you to answer.
    Is Pilates exclusively core stregthening and breathing exercise or it is awareness of our body movements while we exercise with controlled breathing that results in stronger core.?

      Pilates does offer a full body workout and the core of the body will get stronger too.

    Hi, thanks for the explanation video, my Son 14 was diagnosed with scoliosis, does the Pilates help .

      You're welcome! Many people have found Pilates to be helpful but I would always recommend talking to a medical provider first.

    Great video - yes I'm a let's say a "mature female" haha & never really had an exercise routine, so wanting a beginners system.
    I tried Yoga a few times but too advanced for me & it hurt!. I love stretching so I thought maybe Pilates, which I'd heard of but never tried, so could be perfect ...

      glad you're going to give Pilates a try. There are some beginner level classes on the TH-cam channel and additional beginner level programs available within the Membership as well. Both are a great place to begin.

    I have spinal arthritis. Is this going to work for me? Should I just start slow?

      There are a lot of different options available from beginner to advanced exercises and classes. Like any workouts, as long as someone is cleared for exercise they can move with Pilates. It's always wise to start slow and carry what you've learned from working with other people and your body into Pilates.
