F/X is a classic and absolutely does NOT need a remake. Christ, it'll be full of ridiculous CGI. As for The Warriors...impossible to remake on all levels. You're obviously not a true movie fan.
"Black Rain" is perfect. It NEVER needs a remake. "F/X" is as good as it will ever get. There's nothing entertaining about watching someone render digital F/X. "Streets of Fire" is perfect. Leave it alone. "Kelly's Heroes"????? Stop huffing model glue.
"Logan's Run" "F/X" "Streets of Fire" "Kelly's Heroes" "Sphere" "Blue Thunder" (How about "Birds of Prey" (1973)?) "Blast of Silence" "Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia" "Fear is the Key" "Runaway Train" "The Warriors" "Race With the Devil" "Where Eagles Dare" "Black Rain" "Paycheck"
Don't touch Kelly's Heroes , Modern Woke Hollywood would ruin it , like they ruined the Magnificent Seven , Psycho , Carrie . Modern Hollywood has forgotten how to make good Movies .Don't let them ruin the Classics that frankly don't need a remake anyway . Something original from Hollywood would be niice .
I find the suggestion that “modern effects” are a benefit to be misjudged. Modern effects (unless you happen to be Denis Villneuve or Christopher Nolan) are often a curse where CGI ruins scenes and leaves you longing for better practical and in camera work ala the 7os and 80s.
All great movies. Obviously remarkable and would make money in the box office but these are all cult classics and could never be replaced. These movies are more important than money. Sorry but leave them alone.
They could not improve on story or acting in today's toxic Hollywood. Remake Kelly's Heroes? No Way to improve on that. No good actors to replace Eastwood, Savalas, Sutherland.
No more remakes, they only show that Hollywood is where creativity goes to die. How about producing something original again.
Black Rain could be a wonderful miniseries adding much Yakuza politics mixed with political/police corruption.

I love Blue Thunder but an updated version with the same themes would be cool. Also Logan's Run would be great with better effects.

2 movies with James Caan should be remade:
Thief and The Killer Elite.

All great movies and should not be remade. The only one I believe should not be on this list is Paycheck... not a bad movie, it's just my opinion.
Yes on FX, bring in Brian Brown too.
IMHO, F/X is still fun and relevant.
these are al my childhood faves. but if youre remaking crichton, do jurassic park. they made 6 shtty ones and the books just sittin there perfect.
I wouldn't trust Hollywood to improve anything.
Yes on Logan.
Yes it can be redone but not "Where Eagles Dare"
