You helped me make Penn State my dream school :') and when I got in, I cried tears of happiness and thought I'd really go here! I ended up going to a university closer to my home, as I'm out of state, but I knew this place was another path for me. Just getting in was so emotional. I wanted my experience to be just like this high key

That is such a crazy dorm! You guys got so lucky to not have to use the common bathroom and have all that space. Nice! And you guys are extra blessed that you all get along. My first 2 years of dorming...ugh. Roomie drama lol

Normal dorm rooms are basically a long rectangle and its divided up equally on both sides for each person. if its a "cell" then when you enter the door you'll probably have your closet, then the desk, then the bed with a tiny bit of floor space in the middle with your dresser under your bed or something (if you get one). Not all of them are like that, but most standard "freshman" dorm rooms are like that. Her room is more like a square so it has a TON more floor space. like twice as much as normal. Her closer is configured oddly b/c it's open and they don't normally have the bookcase area that she is using for food storage. On top of that, you have to go through a room to a different room and through THAT room to get to the bathroom. Super Strange! I wonder if it used to be wheelchair accessible or like overflow housing or something b/c otherwise that would totally be a safety hazard.
