The Losi gapped the slash round one like a champion. And reeled in the slash . Definitely king of the road until the massive barrel roll. That slash on 4s is no joke. And that poor go pro.... I got shot in the eye with a BB gun when I was 12 . I have a glass lens in one eye now. Great video bro

Both trucks are rockets but the most impressive thing to me is the durability of the Baja Rey after 2 huge wrecks. That is a huge heavy RC & rolling that many times, truck is a beast

Slash still rules nearly 20 years after release
It wasn't released 20 years ago with a 4s system it had a brushed 8.4v nimh system that barely did 25mph. @@jerzinho92

Your vids have a really high production quality, keep up the great work! There are a lot of bodies for the Slash since it can be used for a speed run platform. You should definitely get into speed running at some point!

If I remember right, the Traxxas Slash stock body shell is purposely designed to have a parachuting effect so that when it’s doing jumps it can hang in and be more stable in the air, so it kind of makes sense that being a much smaller and less heavy rig to the Losi, when you take the shell of the Slash and pop 4s in it, it’s quick. I’ve recently bought my second 2wd slash I love it that much. Def loving the Losi...already have a 5T, but this SBR is really grabbing my attention hahaha great vid dude
That makes sense now, it does parachute pretty well lol SBR is definitely a beast for its size, first time running on asphalt and I was suprised how fast it was. Took a little beating too 😂

slash without body went faaast, also baja rey was very much suprisingly fast.
great drag race that SBR 2.0 is scary fast stock. I clocked mine at 58mph out the box. the slash on 4s is a little beast 💪🏽💯👍🏼

Daymm both of them are fast and tough. I don't trust myself driving my Super Baja Rey on the street because I can't get short course trucks nor trophy truck to drive straight on pavement lol. Rock on Brother 🤘😎🤘!!!

Wow, that SBR just sent it! I'm buying one! The problem is that the SBR is just so much heavier I think close to 20 lbs, , good for stability thought. But it is FAST. Pound for pound that SBR shreds the other. But both are awesome to watch!

I am just asking what is ur upload schedule because I love watching ur rc vids! Also how much would that fast battery for the slash cost?
Right now I try once a week, I film on Saturdays in the winter months and try posting Monday or Tuesday. That 4s is around $50 but you need a ESC that's handles a 4S battery 😊

@@nitrodragon8182ESC is about $100, then you would want to upgrade front and rear driveshafts, plastic ones would snap pretty quick

Just got rid of my 2wd slash today. Looking to upgraded to either E revo 2.0, xmaxx, or Baja rey! Help me decide. I off road at the ranch a bit and I like to go fast! But also don't won't to be super fragile. Thanks in advance bro
Nice man, honestly I would say get the Xmaxx. Baja rey is also one of my favorite trucks but I wouldn't bash it as hard as the Xmaxx. Xmaxx is just a great all around truck 😁

If it's stock I understand how the slash lost but you change the gears in that slash it will gap that losi so hard it will have 0 chance.
Yea I ran on 4s with stock gearing and it lifts off 😂
@@FivoNine I have my car tuned right were my car lifts off at 1/2 throttle its at 110mph and the car leaves the line like a rocketship. Motor is a velineon 3s

Thank you man, Arrma has some 3S cars for around $300 but you will need to buy a battery and charger seperately, they are waterproof and go around 50mph. Check out Arrma Senton 3S
And don't forget the arrma bigrock if into big wheel action.

The body is designed a little different on the Losi, the slash is like a parachute 😂😂 But ill have to try it sometime 😁

What are the long term affects of running 4s on the stock motor?
The motor will just die from high rpms, do not recommend running on 4s for long periods. Im just doing it for myself just to see how long the stock motor will last on 4s 😁
Did you have to do anything to the esc once you put it in the slash?
Just do throttle calibration and your good, but if you run 4S I would recommend getting metal driveshafts. Plastic ones break quick

We ran it with 4S battery and with more speed it would flip, No cover means I can go full throttle without flipping
