You’ve got the ringer finger down pat! Now practice doing ALL of them! I remove my pinky and then (without cover) shake my hand to reproduce my pinky and make my ring finger vanish. Then my middle. Then my index. The thumb I make float up and then toss it from hand to hand (ala Tobias Dostal).
i donno why every person here feels like they are qualified to break this down.. especially when you's sound like you've never even seen a card trick live.. because this is a real stage trick. not cgi or video editing.. or paint(that was my favourite). you can watch a few different magicians do this as a part of their main act. if it were some cheat, they wouldn't be able to do it live.

You can see as both times he tries to push it up towards those fingers, and how he puts those two fingers together to hid the fact that it is there. What I don't get is why we can't see the bottom of his finger, but still, cool trick
there is no way of doing this without the very lowest part of your finger being visible. unless you can literally dislocate your finger and push it behind your middle finger... and i doubt that because many stage magicians and slight of hand experts do this on stage. if it required a physically abnormality like that it wouldn't be so commonly done.
