what happened to the dual receive unit from Oricom that you installed, they also have black antenna's? Also high gain, flat transmission pattern, low gain more omni-directional pattern of transmission, that's the difference, not obstacles.

In fact, it's one of the worst places to mount an antenna. It's performance is restricted there.

Such a simple question, I can't understand why they wouldn't know the answer. Of coarse you can run two whips simultaneously with an isolation switch in the cab. Make sure you have a distance between each whip on install

great big thick black stick to look thru from the cab, not for me ....4.5dB wire whips are what I sold and fitted for years and work great, and only fit a 6dB if operating in flat country as was mentioned here......just sayin....
