You actually can tow a rear four or all wheel drive as long as you disconnect the drive line from the rear differential then secure drive line to the undercarriage without removing it from the transmission
You don't even have to do that either. I tow my 4wheel drive jeep liberty behind my rv. Load on dolly,put transfer case in neutral,put transmission in park and take off super easy
@@Drifter. thats true if you have a standard transmission but if its automatic you could damage the transmission if you dont disconnect the drive line or pull the axel shafts

My tire strap snapped because it was too tight. And when you make a turn it puts a lot of pressure on the straps
Can you to a 4WD if you use tow truck style rear dollies on the back?
You could if you had a steering wheel lock definitely not recommended cause if your front tires are not 100 percent straight you risk messing up your front suspension and tires

You cannot tow rear wheel drive cars. You can back them onto the dolly but it’s not recommended
Good video except I would recommend the slack on the strap ought to be rolled up and not able to fall down under the tire while driving
