Agree 100% but my antique clutch motor is still running strong after 4 decades! All I've done is keep it clean & service the clutch every few months. If it ever dies, I'll upgrade.
Just wondering what bobbin is used in this machine purchased one The man said it takes to u bobbin and he called it a consew 206RB 1 is this right only # on the machine is CAT3355. But it looks just like one you are showing. Where would I be able to get the U bobbin if that what it takes. Thank you for video and information
Looks like a real work horse!
Servo motors are a worthwhile upgrade. Much quieter and speed control and needle positioners are great options.
