I love your travel videos but think I like the daily life ones more. :) Knew it was Zara when you were in the clothing store without even seeing a sign, lol. Team botox here - i get it for migraines but do appreciate how it can make the lines on your forehead just go away. you could wear short bike shorts under the dress and use a safety pin to secure the top (I'd sew it shut). But with warmer weather coming, you'll probably not want the long sleves.

I'm excited for the vegan dim sum video!! I visited that gelato place when I was last in Taipei! Have you been to Hoshina? I remember it being close to Nice Cream and their vegan Japanese options were amazing.

I think I seen some Taiwanese brands here but I can’t be sure. There are a lot of Japanese and Korean make up brands here and Taiwan POYA.
I do use a Taiwanese serum from Dr. Wu everyday though 👌🏻 love that brand!

It depends on the sweets!! I love anything fruity or with red bean. Oh and I love egg tarts 🤤 I get them from family mart sometimes. But usually all sweets are good. I don’t like some with egg yolk though.

另外，台灣肯德基賣的蛋塔很好吃，甚至比他們賣的炸雞還棒😜。
Just out of curiosity, when traveling to other counties or cities, do you prefer to use the HSR? It seems most of trips started with an HSR ride :D Is there a particular reason you prefer the HSR but not other modes of transportation?
It’s quick and quite affordable. Riding the HSR from Hsinchu to Taipei & back it similar to some trips I would make to visit friends from Yokohama to outer Tokyo/Saitama in Japan.
Also it seems like I use the HSR a lot but, I only really go to Taipei maybe 2 or 3 times a month if that.
Oh also, the HSR is cool 😂 I only took the Shinkansen once in Japan bc the price is ridiculous 🥲
Ah, TRA/Taiwan Railways could be a bit confusing and more stressful for non-locals (or even locals :-/ many variables). Which platforms, north-bound or south-bound side, calling at what stations... and often SOME delayS or accidents along the line, which sometimes will impact the arriving sequences and train schedules. TRA official website and hardware infrastructures are NOT-quite helpful and foreigner-readable/usable......
THSR is simpler, easier to understand (timetables; seating; limited stops or all-stations hopper). App, website, service and signs are all at least bi-lingual, I think. (website with a Japanese version.)
Local buses, services could be spotty in rural areas (even for cities like Taichung, Tainan or Kaohsiung), limited daily runs. Inter-city buses might be totally out of your way, on the other side of the city/county. I do take buses in, and to and from, Taichung/Changhua and Tainan while visiting, it takes some efforts to skirt around the inconveniences. However, even my mom wouldn't do just that, she always take THSR to and from Taipei/Taichung/Tainan. XD
I second the TRA website being a little confusing and difficult to use 😂😅 I used it to go to the east coast before.
The HSR app though, amazingly easy 💯

I wore skirts for half of my life since my uniforms were always a skirt or a dress. I always wore skirt shorts underneath. It's either in nude or black depending on the color of my skirt. I could never wear skirts with just underwear underneath, it feels so weird and unsafe.
I like to wear shorts too but sometimes I find the dress gets caught on the shorts. Maybe I need to buy a better pair 🤔

I hope you’re doing well. I wanna know about rental cost of the apartment you’re currently staying in Hsinchu. Could you please provide the price range for the one suitable for two people? Because I intend to look for a higher study there so I wanna know. Thanks in advance for your help.
Apartments the size of ours (4 bedroom 2 bathrooms etc) in hsinchu range from $35,000 NTD to $60,000 NTD. It just depends on the age of the building and the area.

I’m not vegan so I don’t have list. I often visit vegan places bc of friends and it’s sprinkled throughout my videos on here or IG.
The French people will be freaking out if they see those stuffed croissants, I think 🤔
I actually had a few french people message me on IG when I shared the croissants saying it hurt their soul 😅😂
If you got that dress it would be cute with a scarf wrapped around, put it wide around you then crossover in the back and bring it back to the front to tie it. That would hold it down from gapping to see your bra and accentuate your waist.

Hmmmm just as good as Vendome & $3000 NTD cheaper. I will be returning to Vendome 😂
