I'm a living example of this - I have survived such horrific hardships and abuse even a war and have never done anything bad by anyone. Karma has always served me well
I would be skeptical of thinking you've never done anything bad to anyone. Your intentions may not have been to harm, but often we're unaware of the ways we hurt those around
No. Not everything continues or has a result. A big part of our thinking e.g. is useless and ends without effect, as everyone should know. Actually all karma should be cut off. Another hint that this teacher has only a superficial understanding of insight. If you are attached to "good karma", your mind is still struggling with dualistic judgements of being.
The processes that result in a thought being manifested, even a useless and short-lived one, are not isolated or independent of everything else. They are affected by and affect everything else. A useless thought may trigger another useless thought, which in turn may lead one to feel or act in a slightly different way that one would have, had this not been the case. It is only when one is not looking deeply enough and carefully enough, that one can believe that there are such things as causally independent phenomena.
