I love watching people who are passionate and skilled at something show us their magic. When there are so many people and things that are negative in the world, it’s nice to come here and be entertained by a craftsman who loves their work. In the big scheme of things, restoring a toy car may seem inconsequential but it’s the little things in life that brings joy to us. Thanks for sharing your videos! You have a new fan.
Like # 91. Nice little Jeep. Good restoration. The wheels make the whole model. Great job. Thanks for posting. Less unboxing more restoration. Thank you👍
Wow if you can restore that model, you can restore anything. That was the equivalent of someone going to a junkyard and building a vehicle from parts. GREAT JOB
Wow! It’s amazing what the right set of wheels can do. When you were showing the 3 sets, I too, liked these the best. Nice little Jeep with the big beefy tires. See ya next time.
You are a total inspiration! a few weeks ago I got the same car in the same condition and I said to myself "this is beyond repair" and here you are...mine has the seats broken, the windshield is missing, the tires are gone, the extra tire is there ... now you are giving me ideas! Unfortunately MBX crazy collectors do not appreciate the art of restoration and they rather to buy new and look at it lol Honestly I don't find the fun of it.
Very nicely done Rob, looks great, the wheels and tires make it jump out, I've done the same casting, fabricated the windshield with pieces of split pins (cotterpins), 3 short and 1 long piece, glued with super glue and baking powder. Turned out pretty good, looking forward to future videos.
Whoa, That cleaned up right nice, good selection of wheels and tires. Small piece of window screen laid over the drain will solve that issue so you don't have to play plumber again. Watch several of you guys do these restores/customs, makes me want to restore mine, have to get a detector to find them though. I am not sure they will be able to be saved after 40 years in the ground. Thanks for sharing Mike from Texas,Take Memories,Leave Footprints
I can only think of one word to describe this restoration plus and that is"Awesome" Rob what a spectacular job and the gold mixed in with the yellow was a perfect match!! You da man, thanks so much for sharing and as always"Howdy from Texas 😁"!!!
Looks like it should be out in the Colorado mountains...or somewhere out West. Back in the '70s, some parks and the U.S. Geological Service used Jeeps ( and International Harvester trucks) painted sort of a desert tan... that's what that Jeep reminded me of...Nice Job!
Rob you cracked me up 96. 38% of paint removal! The wheels realy set it off. Shame there's no matching spare. but im not taking anything away from another excellent restoration!
I liked the white wheels the best and would have painted the spare wheel the same color as the main wheels. I really like how you put in the extra effort and time to detail the lights and other parts. It really helps the cars get that extra kick and pop out.
Excellent job as usual! The polished base came out great! Touch of dark wash on the front radiator grill might have added some depth! Just nit picking - looks awesome
Great job bud. Those windscreens are well on there with a couple of cast tabs. I thought I'd take the one off my hot rod jeep but it wasn't guna happen.

It originally looked like it came from the bin! Nothing more satisfying than putting it back together again and making it look new once more !!!😍
I liked this Jeep when I was a kid. It looks even better now. Great work.
Wow if you can restore that model,
you can restore anything.
That was the equivalent of someone going to a junkyard

Beautifull....espectacular!!!!
Awesome Jeep , reminds me of the younger days going mud busting.
Another amazing model, yellow does still look good on this Jeep, the wheels look awesome on this one, good choice.
The Jeep turned out great! I think the leveling solution really helped out making that paint job look like silk
i would never expect for this car to look as good as it does after you restored it. much better than the original even when it was new
Wow! It’s amazing what the right set of wheels can do. When you were showing the 3 sets, I too, liked these the best. Nice little Jeep with the big beefy tires. See ya next time.

Looks absolutely fantastic Rob 👌
Very nice and awesome restoration model.
You should get a basket strainer from the pound shop. It would save having the parts falling into the drain. Thanks for sharing.
I have the exact same Jeep very cool to see a restoration project on it
A real old school custom.
Beautifully finished Rob. The silver hubs match the polished base perfectly.
