I own a '71 Ford and it's my Daily Driver. This has inspired me to try to find some to add to my collection!! Awesome Restoration!!

Great job with the restoration of this truck. That red looks awesome and the canopy looks like it's fresh from the factory.

I love the restoration + on this truck! I was born in 67 which is the year of this truck and I have one I put back over a year ago til I found a good usable grille and windshield which cannot be ordered, very nice job indeed! Love it!!!

Great looking Ford F series with the canopy. Well done once again. Would have been nice to see the Ford logo painted black on the tailgate but still an awesome restoration.

I had both this model and the Kennel pick up which was basically the same Ford model and both lost the grill and lights section. You done an amazing job on this one Rob.

That's what you call a clean resto+ The red works a treat, and even for a Matchbox "toy" the grill/headlight details which are probably more what we see on 1:43 collector's models, works a treat in modernising yet retaining the soul of a classic Matchbox....as for the ink washes you do to the silver work, I fail to understand why they are disliked....it's an almost given technique in painting Citadel Minatures, to add that all important shadowing where trying to manually paint in shadows at this scale would be a total ball ache, the ink works perfectly without becoming too stark of a contrast. All in all on point as usual, a tidy, tidy truck!

Lovely job in the end, just shows if you collect the beat up models for long enough you will eventually get enough parts to make great examples of them all over time.

Yeah, turn the cap around. Many pickup cabs have sliding rear windows to access the covered bed. That's why the opening is as wide as the rear window. Usually the bed caps have a hinged window over the tailgate.

I love that truck. I need to get one to make it look 'Pre-loved'. Marty uses 'Dollar Store' rattlecans, and has often remarked what a nice finish they give. I've used them (although from Poundland), and I have to agree. Great for small parts and bases, etc.
    Beautiful end result. Sweet as!
