That happened in Alien Resurrection. The company had multiple aliens in a cage, and some of the aliens killed one of their own in order to bust out of the cage when the blood ate thru the floor.
The cash that made alien isolation explained that the reason why they made the nest and more xenomorphs was to prevent this, to justify that even thought someone managed to trap or glitch the xeno there would always be one anyway 😅
This is why it seems like the xenomorph is everywhere you are, that it's following you from section to section of the station, when in reality the whole place is crawling with them. In-universe, I estimate that there are somewhere between thirty and forty xenomorphs on the station, with the first dozen or so hosts taken for ovamorphing.

Alien Character code; 16000 1000 ...so no, unfortunately - you can't kill it. Even if you put down 100 pipe bombs, it won't kill the alien, but it WILL crash the game. The most you can do is make it flee, but then its aggro is so high it won't leave you alone until it kills you. ;)
Judging from that Omega directive level, where a similar grate separates Amanda from a bunch of looters who will try to shoot her to no effect, I am not even sure if damage can pass through that grate.
It's odd that you can do this, because there are other points in the game where you can trap it in a room with no exits, and it just teleports out. Why doesn't it do that here? It does get forcibly teleported later on in the level, for a scripted encounter, but why not immediately?

The above commenter is correct. The pipe bomb will scare away the alien into "go into vent" mode like the Molotov and flamethrower. It's not in "chase the player" mode any more, so it's not making the aggro noise.
I wonder what the details of this was with the creators. Did they miss this? Or did they let this slide by. Did you know how lucky you kids are because we had to play aliens the game in my friends restaurant basement in the dark in the 80s and it was just hide and seek in pitch blackness but we pretended the person who was it was an alien. And we weren’t even poor kids for the time period but it was just Atari games and I didn’t really like them only Pac-Man and then Nintendo came thankfully and Mario was state of the art and I watched him grow so much over the years even though all my family died now Mario still keeps getting 1 ups and he’ll always be there for me
@@russ254 Some of my friends are native/Indians and they have a status card that says their name and then “is an Indian” and they don’t need to get licenses to go fishing or hunting and can do it at any time of the year and they get their medication and glasses and dentist and university paid for and they can cross the US/Canada border without a passport and live and work in both countries.
That was the one thing i didn't like in this game...they could have made that creature much more intelligent and could have programm it to wall-walk like in Aliens or the Alien games. Imagine you enter a corridor and the creature is hiden on a wall like in Alien 3.
@Tim to a certain extent it is indeed advanced cause it follows numerous patterns in order to find you but I wished it would behave more intelligent and not always use the same basic animations over and over again like jumping into a vent. They could have made it crawl up the wall and then slowly enter a vent ...
Somebody should mod this so Amanda can carry a shotgun and revolver with a lot of ammo. I heard the Alien does in fact take damage, you just can't do enough before it kills you
Once you get it trapped... Be sure to stand there (with mic on) and give it a full speech on how bad its been (using Tweety bird voice). Make sure to let it know what a "Bad ole Alien" it is while using the voice. Then, in a cringey voice... Sing to it. Sing some irritating songs to it. That'll steam it up

Apparently for this guy the alien was NOT the perfect organism....
When I did this, I hid in the nearby vent. After a while in the cage, the bug simply vanished.

Also the alien doesn’t get trapped there for long, after a while it just disappears and spawns somewhere else and proceeds to kill you like usual

Game will load up the alien again once you hit certain areas but this is kinda smart at least for this section
