Some months just turn out like this! You actually did read quite a lot. A Suitable Boy sounds so good but it's huuuuuge. Happy Easter!

Yes for sure! It’s almost a reading slump but truth is I want to read it’s just too busy! Some huge books are worth it- some not so much but this one IS! It is a book you can read with other books though to help break it up.

Oh, I have failed in my own reading projects and plans many times. Life happens and I try not to put too much pressure on myself. Some of the books you have coming up (The Book of Night Women, Alias Grace) are worth the wait when you do get to them. I still have to read Robinson Crusoe. Now I want to go to Disney to have the adventure too. 😊💙

I mean the Disney experience did make the book that much better 🤣

Wow you had a month! I’m fearful my March will reflect so many unfinished books too. March Madness, family gatherings and taxes all played a part to keep me from reading!

Right?!? It somehow felt extra this month! But hey worst things than unfinished books- more adventures await us!

I just picked up A Suitable Boy last week and I gotta admit it's kind of intimidating. I slogged through The Luminaries for my March of the Mammoths It just wasn't for me. I am looking forward to reading A Suitable Boy, I didn't realize it has some humor in it. Hope you have a blessed Easter weekend. Happy reading!

It IS a chunky book but I think it’s one of the best written books I have encountered in quite some time. It is extremely helpful to google the Indian words/ events that come up to get the full picture of what is going on. I’m learning a lot too! I almost read the Luminaries but finally decided I didn’t think I’d like it especially for the investment of its size.

March got busy here as well so didn’t get to read as much as I hoped. Don’t feel bad about not doing as much as you want. Life stuff happens and reading should be fun. Hope you had a great Easter!
