At 2:30 it look like you put the pink wire in the negative did it work? I have a 1987 Monte Carlo I can’t get my fuel sending unit working what else you have to hook up if you remember?
It does look that way but I just went out to the shop car and it is in the terminal marked FUEL SND, when first installed the gas gauge gave us some trouble as well. I made sure the ground under the vehicle was cleaned and it has worked well ever since. You can give me a call if you have any other questions 877-243-4943 and my name is Rob.
What did you mean when you said you re used the wire? You had the proper color wire and it was a lot longer than what was there from the factory. Where did you get that wire?
We have the benefit of having parts cars and GM wiring harnesses kicking around. From the factory they definitely do not provide enough wiring. If you have the time shoot us an Email at Info@dixierestorationdepot.com or give us a call and I will cut up a harness for you if you need some GM color-coded wires and send it your way.

what was the original gauges on this ca?r because im dealing with the gauges with idiot lights and not the actual gauges

Yes, the GPS sending unit is sold separately.
