Tho massing croesus is the only acceptable mass I allow, fair on solo idea. Dont know if I want it a hard, solo, or a fast solo though. Massing, I just focused on my core rotation section. Ah whole boss room would be a different beast.
I gen can't wait for Combat achievements! I hope they release an item/cosmetic/title or something a player can wear to show the tier of achievements they're out. The only real thing we have for this atm, aside from the skill/max/comp capes are titles... And even then they all pretty much require high level PVM.
It's a shame we didn't get black ween this year. A Silver phat would be cooler than another release of the black phat.

Crazy how I haven't played this game like I use to in about three/four years. The spark actually died for me and I never thought it would.
Spec / Special for masterwork will be sorted when all 3 styles are out. Jmods said this upon the news of the ranged masterwork weapon
I'm thinking we get our own personal Thok's overload cauldron for the QOL for the combat tasks. This can also be a multi-tier upgrade, i.e. hard tasks can be a normal overload while more elite+ tasks get the supreme and elder variants. You'd have to pay an upkeep for it of course, realistically being more expensive like 13 overloads/hr in exchange for convenience, as well as having the appropriate levels.
The masterwork weapons are getting a spec/passive. They're getting weaker versions of the t95 weapons (ezk, bolg, fsoa) which should be really good as an entry level point into endgame rotations and feel of weapon interaction.
In OSRS the combat achievements give an offhand and special slayer helm overrides, in RS3 the offhand would probably turn into special buffs for each boss or some kind of one off boost for the first kill per hour/day and since the slayer helms are basically never really shown by most people it'll probably end up being alternate boss pet skins
If they're making all the Masterwork weapons, 110 Runecrafting and Crafting might be next to make a staff
Pretty sure they said masterwork bow is next, since 110 wc is on the road map and fletching goes hand in hand with wc
I believe Runecrafting and Crafting are separate updates but yeah should be. Maybe Masterwork armor for Range and Mage too.

Shouldn’t a 110 skill release get its own week? I am disappointed this is overlapping with the Christmas village. I will want to spend as much time there during the season as possible. But I also intended on grinding the new skills as these happen to be my favorite.

mining and smithing ended up being kind of annoying. the pick was a pain to make, and the rewards were kind of pointless

I do kind of understand the issue with the mining work they’ve done but it IS mining.. all of the skill is just some rocks chucked in an area. Would love to see it spiced up some but what can you add to hitting a rock with a pointy stick? For a dxp guide, it’s truly impossible to make a good one that fits everyone’s expectations while keeping the video at a proper length. If your concern is gp you train buyables that would go in order of price or your dislike of the skill. If gp isn’t an issue, you work towards goals you have or go into skills you hate so you spend less time training it. Methods will vary on gp available and amount of effort you’re willing to use
100-110 is a pretty big chunk of XP, about 25m I think? And there's only 1 tier of ore/metal in it and not as many things you can make with it, and I don't know that they compare so well with other endgame equipment. I mean you're right that there's only so many ways to make mining exciting, but at least with 1-99 you unlock a whole new tier every 10 levels so that adds a bit of variety to things at a somewhat reasonable pace. With 100-110 you're having to stay in one place for twice as much XP as you did for everything up to that point, without that much payoff at the end.
Here's hoping woodcutting/fletching they add more than just one thing, and find a way to avoid the monotony of having to spend dozens of hours or longer standing in one single location.
@@TheBruin42 trust me I get that there should be more but I also feel like people got their hopes up too high. Not anyone specifically just the masses in general, with all of them forgetting it’s just hit rock with pointy stick at the end of it. I’d be interested to see what kind of spin they could put on it if they could
@@guitarisdeathofme Like I said, I think it may help if there are meaningful unlocks spread throughout the new level range, not just incremental training improvements. Give you something to work towards along the way besides just the far-off end goal of 110.
@@TheBruin42 Wait, what? You said there is only 1 tier of ore(s)/metal from 100-110 but at the same time say at least 1-99 there was a new tier every 10 levels. Same exact thing lol. Yes, same general area but it's over the whole peninsula. You need 10 different ores to make 1 primal bar being there is not primal ore. Let's not forget the skills got reworked completely in 2019 iirc. And 110s are "halfway" to 120(104m). 25.7m xp at t99 rates isn't the same whatsoever of going 1-99.
I think Fletching should be good as there are a lot of different types of things you can make already. Would be cool for Woodcutting to get a Forestry esque update but not getting my hopes up.
@@zeldapro18 Yes, obviously it matches the previous pattern to have one tier for the 10 levels after 99. But the point I was making is that this is a very large chunk of experience you have to grind through on only one activity, about twice as much between 100 and 100 as you needed to get from 1-99. Even at higher XP rates that a long time to spend on one thing (yes you would have to do that anyway if you were going for virtual 120, but not everyone goes for that in the first place).
The whole original point being called out in the video was that 110 Mining/Smithing update wasn't that well received. I'm simply suggesting that it might have been better if there was more meaningful unlocks along the way, so that you aren't doing the exact same thing the whole way (except a little more efficient as time goes by).
Yes, I know that there are 10 Daemonheim ores to make primal bars, but I don't count it as 10 pieces of unique content because they all unlock at the same time, are located in the same area, and are all needed together in the same quantities to make the single metal of that tier.
I don't know much about Forestry feature from OSRS, but if it helps makes woodcutting more interesting by giving more goals to work towards in parallel with leveling the skill, and useful unlocks if you chose to work on it, then I'd certainly support it. I'm hoping the next 100 update we get something more than 1 type of tree in one area you cut for 25m XP, that you can fletch into a couple types of bows.
