FYI, this is also a Jubilee year for the Catholics. It began on Dec 2024 when the Pope opened the "Holy Door" of St Peter's Bascilica. I have always wondered what the significance was to the 85 years told to JS. It seemed odd that God would give a detail and JS write it down for it not to mean anything. I was reading Matthew 24:32-34 (KJV) "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." I understood this as the Jews returning to their land in 1948. The saints were given 40 years in the wilderness from approximately 1850-1890 to try to live the laws of zion that they failed to live in Missouri. If they had succeeded in establishing zion after those 40 years, the Lord could have come to them in 1890. Because they failed, the result was that the enemies of the church were allowed to overcome them unless they stopped living polygyny.
@gemelindacjp7976 Not necessarily a mistake, but incomplete in the way they were practicing it. The Lord can come to earth multiple times for his second coming, including visiting or dwelling with those in zion.
Acting President Jeffrey R Holland was born here in St. George, Utah and he presided over the Red Cliffs Utah Temple groundbreaking, and he rededicated the St. George Utah Temple. It was always my understanding that if Joseph Smith's efforts were successful so that there were no wicked men who wanted the work to fail, by the time he was 85 years old, the world would have been prepared for the Lord's 2nd coming.
Sorry, but I am having trouble understanding this comment. How could Joseph's efforts have an effect that there would be no one wanting the work to fail? That does not align with the doctrine of agency. Also, Jared has shared quotes from authoritative sources that the Second Coming has a set time; we can neither delay or speed it up.
@gemelindacjp7976 you misunderstood what I was saying. People have agency. They chose to kill Joseph. If Joseph had lived to be 85 years old--in my opinion-- the work would have spread over all the Earth much more quickly, thereby making the people prepared for the second coming. That did not happen... obviously. And I'm not saying Christian is wrong. I actually believe the Lord will be here very, very soon. I'm just saying things might have played out differently if the world hadn't been so wicked as to kill Joseph.
But I wonder - maybe not the whole world, but maybe if JS had lived to 85, the saints could’ve built Zion and become an Enoch ppl … taken up like the city of Enoch. Don't overthink it. The Lord gave a very specific number that had no symbolism intentionally--so that people would let it go, just as He commanded Joseph and those around him to do. Sometimes, Jesus speaks very plainly.

President Holland asked for breakfast the next morning...i wonder if he died and was resurrected, or something similar, since he had such a long out of body experience. When people in the Bible were resurrected they always asked for food. Maybe not, but maybe... did he say "the restoration of my life" in the DR?
God said to Joseph "If thou livest" this is a conditional statement. He could have said "at the age of 85 thou shall...." God knows the present, past and future and He knew that Joseph will never reach the age of 85. That is why He used the conditional statement. In other words God did not reveal the time of the second coming to Joseph.
To me the Lord told Joseph if he were to live to 85 years old. He would not see the coming of the Lord. In other words stop trying to second guess the Lord.
I'm pretty sure you're doing your Jubilee year calculation wrong. (Actually, it looks like you track the version I discuss in column K.) There's an every-50-year repeating pattern. 7 weeks of years (49) then the Jubilee year, then another 7 weeks of years, then a Jubilee year. L. Tom Perry announced that 2000 was a Jubilee year: th-cam.com/video/S_N1_HjNeRs/w-d-xo.html This is not consistent with your calculations. However, with the calculations I'm, familiar with, it is perfectly consistent. 1836, 1843, 1850, then we can jump by 50s to project further Jubilee years (actually sabbatic or sabbatical years) in 1900, 1950, 2000. Somewhere in the 50 years there is an extra Jubilee year following a sabbatical year. If L. Tom Perry was being consistent with Joseph Smith, then we can say for certain that 1844 was not a Jubilee Year, but 1851 might have been, or perhaps 1835. We just don't have enough information, though, if I follow your reasoning (I like your reasoning), 1878 was a sabbatical year and 1879 would have been the actual Jubilee, placing an upcoming contemporary Jubilee in 2029 (following a 2028 sabbatical). This is, of course, following Joseph Smith's pattern, which uses a different calendar than the Jew presumably did, but, considering L. Tom Perry's pronouncement in 1999, appears to be taken seriously enough to track. I often hear people wonder when the actual, original, Hebrew Jubilee years would be, but maybe it doesn't matter. Joseph Smith's declaration may be good enough for us.
The Paiute Indians claim that Jesus came to them in 1890. I heard an Indian on a channel (I can’t remember who) say that Joseph smith would have seen the savior in 1890 if he had lived. I think it’s the walker lake prophecy. I sent you a link to an older TH-cam channel that talked about it😊
So, did Joseph not see the faces of God the Eternal Father and Jesus Christ at the First Vision? I know he saw two personages, but was he unable to see their faces?
Here's my theory: Rules Established: Age Limit: Each apostle serves until the age of 95. If they reach 95 before their turn to become prophet, they are bypassed. Seniority: Succession follows the order of seniority in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Adjusted for Jeffrey R. Holland: Jeffrey R. Holland passes away at 87, bypassing his opportunity to serve as prophet. David A. Bednar's Tenure: Bednar turns 95 in 2047, and if he follows seniority, he would serve until that year unless other factors intervene. When David A. Bednar Would Likely Become Prophet: Dallin H. Oaks becomes prophet in 2025 and serves until 2027. With Jeffrey R. Holland bypassed due to his earlier passing, David A. Bednar becomes prophet directly after Oaks in 2027. David A. Bednar’s tenure would last from 2027 to 2047, based on the age limit of 95. Second Coming Happens When Bednar Turns 85 (2037): If we theorize that the Second Coming occurs when David A. Bednar turns 85: Year of the Second Coming: 2037, as Bednar was born in 1952. Implications: By 2037, Bednar will have been serving as prophet for 10 years, having become prophet in 2027. The world would still be under Bednar’s leadership at the time of this monumental event. The timing aligns with the belief that the prophet at the time of the Second Coming would play a pivotal role in preparing the world for the return of Jesus Christ. Summary of Timeline with Second Coming in 2037: 2025-2027: Dallin H. Oaks serves as prophet. 2027-2037: David A. Bednar becomes prophet, leading up to the Second Coming. 2037: The Second Coming occurs when Bednar is 85 years old. 2037-2047: Bednar continues as prophet post-Second Coming (if mortal leadership continues as before). This hypothesis places David A. Bednar in a central prophetic role during a crucial period in global history, should the Second Coming align with his 85th year.
You two are forgetting that Dieter is next up for prophet . Not David Bednar . I could only see it is the four now die and Dieter dies too. I think I heard the second coming was before 2030. . In four more years we could still have all of them or just dieter and David Bednar . Or maybe still Jeffrey R Holland . It just seems like Dieter would be the millennium Prophet but does not want to indicate that ?
How do you know president oaks is going to die in 2027 ? Oh yes you do not know that . But why are you skipping Dieter F Utchdorf ? For what reason ? If four unhealthy pass away Dieter is next prophet not David A Bednar . Do you have some reason you are just skipping Dieter as the next prophet ?

If Pres Holland is 84, then he is technically IN his 85th year 😉
I have world data that definitively proves 2nd < about 35 years to a degree of absolute or humans couldn't live on earth.
The Paiute Indians claim that Jesus came to them in 1890. I heard an Indian on a channel (I can’t remember who) say that Joseph smith would have seen the savior in 1890 if he had lived. I think it’s the walker lake prophecy. I sent you a link to an older TH-cam channel that talked about it😊
It's possible Elders Holland and Cook (or maybe Bednar) could be the two witnesses in Jerusalem. Maybe his life was spared for that purpose.
I emailed you MBR newest video on ezras eagle and its crazy. He has people in high places talking about new jersey drones
Ezra’s eagle is false
@ its not he timed framed wrong i did a study on it and beileve i cracked that prophecy with paralleling it with BOM
So, did Joseph not see the faces of God the Eternal Father and Jesus Christ at the First Vision? I know he saw two personages, but was he unable to see their faces?
Here's my theory:
Rules Established:
Age Limit: Each apostle serves until the age of 95.
Bednar Would Likely Become Prophet:
Dallin H.
Second Coming Happens When Bednar Turns 85 (2037):
If we theorize that the Second Coming occurs when David A. Bednar turns 85:
Year of the Second Coming: 2037, as Bednar was born in 1952.
Implications:
By 2037, Bednar will have been serving as prophet for 10 years, having become prophet in 2027.
The world would still be under Bednar’s leadership at the time of this monumental event.
The timing aligns with the belief that the prophet at the time of the Second Coming would play a pivotal role in preparing the world for the return of Jesus Christ.
Summary of Timeline with Second Coming in 2037:
2025-2027: Dallin H.
@Arc_reactor01 I think the second coming in glory will be 2032 when he is 80.
85-- add those numbers together
8+5=13
1+3=4
4🙄😆😆😆😆
compare age 85 to "the age of a tree". this age come up several times in the scriptures.
Another great video! Thank you Jared ❤
