The messages of the prophet are so important and precious. I am able to benefit from the talks as presented on this site by listening without looking at the display, which is distracting to me. Thank you for presenting the messages of our beloved prophet.
Repentance is important but to be closer to God, you must first believe in the true God of the bible. You can read about Him and learn of Him in God's Word. There is only one Jesus, He is our creator and created everything. It says in 2 Corinthians 11:4 if someone preaches a different Jesus you may put up with it. Mormonism believes in a different Jesus than what is in the bible. Mormonism believes that He was created, that he is the biological son of a god. But the bible teaches that He has always existed, He is the beginning and the end, He is eternal. Jesus was before the foundation of the world. He is infinite. John 1:1 In the beginning, there was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word is God, Jesus is God and He was in the beginning with God. Also, if Jesus is our creator, he could not create himself. The bible is Gods revelation of Jesus, to know Him is your only way to His Kingdom.
