LokSound 5 Fx First Look - New ESU Function-Only Sound Decoder

The new ESU LokSound 5 Fx is a function-only sound decoder for cab cars, cabooses/vans, head-end power rolling stock and other non-motorized equipment.
In this video I demonstrate the use of a LokSound 5 Fx decoder inside my custom Athearn commuter cab car.

Really glad to see an upload from you, thank you very much for this. More of a reason for me to be excited about Atlas's next release of the NJTransit Multilevel cab cars, which I intend to install a Loksound 5 Fx DCC into. Hoping ESU will release a V5 file for the NJT cabcar so it'll sound accurate like the current Select version of the file.

Can you get the sound for door-close and chime with regular Loksound Select decoders, or does it absolutely have to be the FX decoder?

1. Only when I have the final samples in, it make take several more weeks.
