I'm so glad you could understand and have empathy for Jenny. I think she told Forrest to run from danger because she was running her whole life. Also, Forrest was running for 3 years in an age when everyone didn't have a cell phone in their pocket so she contacted him when she could and told him about his son. I think she asked him to marry her at that point 1) because he had a right to know, 2) to look after her son, and 3) to give Forrest a right to his son without having his paternity questioned or his custody being in jeopardy due to his perceived mental disability. I agree that Jenny may never have been in love with Forrest but she did love him. The problem is that she never loved herself and didn't feel she was worthy of Forrest. I'm glad she got her act together though. BTW - I've seen a couple of your reviews and I'm glad you don't feel the need to cuss throughout.
I think that your explanation of Jenny's behavior is spot on. Being a young girl that was sexually abused by her father set her up to seek abusive relationships. Yes, she was protecting Forrest from her unworthy dirty self too. It comes out when she tells him "You don't want to marry me." When she finally marries Forrest I think the reasons you gave make sense plus perhaps she had worked through her issues and loved herself enough to accept his love.
@@greed42o I can understand your point of view. However, I have to disagree. There are plenty of stories where the virtuous and virginal woman falls for the bad boy (with or without a traumatic past) and puts up with his nonsense and even abusive nature until his redemption arc and they live happily ever after. For example, Beauty and the Beast, Jane Eyre, Harlequin romance novels, etc., etc. And for an example where the guy doesn't get the girl, look at Phantom of the Opera....tragic past leads to a monster that controls, mistreats, and even kills and yet women's hearts break for him.
I feel like Jenny always loved Forrest, but when she said to him "you don't know what love is" -- SHE doesn't know what love is. Forrest is the only kindness she's ever known and she doesn't think she deserves his love. She also knows he's good and doesn't want to taint him bc she knows she's messed up. Thank you for having compassion for her; a lot of reacters get mad at her (and yes, her behavior is frustrating) but they can't see the root of why she does the things she does. Also: it took me decades to realize that she didn't withhold the fact that he was a father from him...she just couldn't get in touch bc he was running cross-country for YEARS after that night little Forrest was conceived. Anyway, loved this reaction and you just earned a new follower ❤ can't wait to check out your backlog of reactions!
I've seen a lot of reactions to this movie. It's one of my favorite movies. You are one of the few that understand Jenny's character. I'm looking forward to seeing you react to some of my other favorites as well.
I'm glad that you reacted to this film because it brought me to your channel. Subbed. Thank you for your analysis of Jenny. Very insightful. I believe the "just run" is more about herself than Forrest. Great reaction!
Forest's speech on the mall: "Sometimes in Vietnam, boys come home to their Mommas without any legs. Sometimes they don't come home at all. That's a bad thing. That's all I have to say about that."
The 90s had some of the best movies in every genre I’ve ever seen. Stories about people in every conceivable situation. After 2000 it was all superhero’s and make believe. I still go back and watch 90s movies quite often.
I have subscribed or unsubscribed to channels based on their reaction to this movie. You earned my subscription. One reactor hated on jenny throughout, got a lot of hate, then lashed out because of it, and lost a lot of us.
@@JKWESITVI think a lot of us understand childhood trauma, and understand Jenny. Hearing people give her no grace or understanding can feel a little close to home.
One of the best films ever made. My dad fought in Vietnam and he said dry socks are a must, especially in the jungle, he ended up getting bad toenail fungus and Hepatitis, what are men go through for our country is incredible. Blessed he made it home safely
Another great movie that teamed up Tom Hanks with Gary Sinise is Apollo 13 -- When in the bar Lt. Dan said "That'll be the day I'm an astronaut!" -- it happened!
great reaction! i really appreciate how much empathy you have for Jenny and how much you want to understand her. So many reactors hate on her and don't seem to remember that she is a kind-hearted person who had a really traumatic start at life and that caused her to have a really difficult and complicated life. I really love that you acknowledge that. Cinema Therapy has an excellent video that dives into the psychology of Jenny and helps explain why she does certain things etc. i highly recommend that video! It's called "Toxic or Not? Forrest and Jenny from FORREST GUMP" Anyways, thanks for a great reaction. You gained a new subscriber! :)
Thank you for recognizing Jenny's deep trauma; too many people who react to this movie express rage towards her character when she is so fundamentally wounded by her childhood abuse that she spends decades of her life running away from the love she feels she doesn't deserve. I think she genuinely loves Forrest but doesn't believe she deserves his love. Like many victims of incest, she blames herself and punishes herself. That's why she constantly gets involved with abusive men; that's what she feels she deserves. The bra scene, I believe, was her trying to give Forrest something special in the only way she knew how. Similarly, when she sleeps with him, it seems like she wants to do something to make up for hurting him earlier, but, to her, sex is her only currency, a fallback behavior. It's significant, however, that she does confess she loves him. But she runs away because she feels she's bad, and, thus, bad for him. When she contacts him, I don't think she has any interest in his wealth (by then, he'd been rich for years, and she basically turned down his marriage proposal while he was rich, saying, "You don't want to marry me," meaning that she thinks she's unworthy of him). Once she's had her baby and cleaned up her life, I think she realizes that she loves and deserves Forrest. Sometimes it takes a brush with mortality for people to recognize the truth and figure out what they really want. I think she knows she can now be with him without feeling she's ruining his life because she's finally healed. Also, she wants him to know his son, and she trusts that Forrest will love their child when she's gone. She never once mentions money or wanting her son to have material things. She knows Forrest lives simply. They have a modest wedding and a simple life together taking walks and talking. Forrest Junior goes to public school. It seems clear that Jenny was trying to protect Forrest from her self destructive behavior until she was finally ready to accept his love and return it, though, sadly, their time together was cut short (I think I have heard that her undisclosed illness was hep c from using dirty needles). At least, Forrest isn't left alone and has a child to cherish.
In my excitement over the story and character I forgot to commend the orchestrator ROBERT ZEMECKIS. For constructing this amazing movie. Also I said it in the reaction but the visual effects and practical effects, for a film in 1994 are quite insane. Especially during the Vietnam scenes. Incredible!
You were talking about Jenny's motivation in contacting Forrest, then asking him to marry, being for Little Forrests security. It made me think, isn't that what Ms Gump did with the principal? I don't know if that's right. What I do know is I have watched about 30 reactions to the movie and you are the one with the most thought provoking questions. Thank you! ✌️❤️
I usually don't watch a Forrest Gump reaction until I read the comments to make sure the reactor doesn't spend the whole time bashing on Jenny. I've watched a few of your reactions now and I'm cautiously optimistic that you'll be able to see the trauma that drives her desire to run and that other than when she left after sleeping with him, she didn't really _do_ anything to him just because she did not reciprocate his feelings.
She's complex but certainly no Jenny bashing here! Skip to the review to check my thoughts on her. I think she's the most interesting and complicated character in the film.
Got to your review and in terms of the bra scene, I do believe that Forest was looking curiously and shyly* at her which is what triggered her to ask him about being with a girl and then it progressed from there. Regarding Jenny not reaching out until she was terminally ill, we do have to remember that he was running for a little over 3 years if I remember correctly (no cell phones) and so there was some of that at play but I don't think it can boil down to was she using him and only reached out because she was terminally ill and needed somebody for little Forest or did she have actual feelings for him and had healed? I think it's definitely a combination of both. I don't think she has to have romantic or lustful love for Forest to love and marry him. @@JKWESITV
I appreciate the honesty at the beginning. Too often I see reactors who claim to be completely CLUELESS about movies that you would have to have been living in a coma to have heard nothing about. It's like...c'mon...at least be honest. It's ok to be honest about knowing at least generally about HUGE blockbusters. It doesn't mean you've seen the movie and is still a "first time watching".
Some movies are so iconic that you don’t need to have seen them for parts of them to have crossed into your consciousness! Green Mile is probably my blindest reaction so far
The theme of Forrest Gump is how a little boy who no one expected much of had a positive impact on the lives of everyone he met, from Elvis Presley to a bumper sticker salesman to a T-shirt salesman to Lt. Dan and Jenny. Jenny was the hardest for Forrest to reach because of the incredible amount of trauma she suffered. The ping pong match with the Chinese was a real event, Americans running across the country was a real occurrence, the football coach for the Alabama football team was a real person ( Coach Bear Bryant and he wore a houndstooth hat).
Jenny had a warped sense of love as,a result of her dad's abuse. She wasn't playing with Forrest in her dorm. She was expressing her love the only way she knew how up to that point.
Wonderful reaction. Another one of Tom Hanks' great films is Saving Private Ryan. Not for the faint of heart, but tremendous acting and story. Greetings from Toronto, Canada.
Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption and Pulp Fiction competed against each other for the 1995 Oscar for Best Picture. They were out, at the theaters, at the same time in 1994, along with Jurassic Park.
Forrest was already very wealthy at the time she visited him in Alabama, and he proposed to her. But she still turned him down, so that 100% proves she wasn't after his money at all. And she didn't let him know about the kid earlier because he was running across the country for three years and she couldn't reach him. That was 1980, no cell phones. And she couldn't even write to him at his home, - no one was there to read his mail. As soon as he returned home, she contacted him. Also, she never said "I love you" until her very last scene with him, and no viewer has any doubt that she means it. Her tragic circumstances had finally enabled her to appreciate him.
38:28 When Dan calls Forrest "Gilligan" he is refering to the hapless First Mate Gilligan (Bob Denver) in the 1960's TV comedy "Gilligan's Island". Bob was also starred as a beatnik in an earlier comedy "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis" with the doll Tuesday Weld as "Thaiia".
You seem to be a thoughtful reactor. I think she always loved Forrest, but felt unworthy of him. Your assessment of Jenny's trauma reaction is accurate. The movie came out before the restaurants were created.
I'm white, American, and a Saint 😂 And I am so happy I just came across your channel! Providence! 😄🙌🏻 This is the only reaction of yours I've watched so far, and may I just say how refreshing it is to find not only a fellow believer, but a reactor who kept it clean, compassionate, and insightful! Bravo, instant new subscriber here! 😄👍🏻
Robin Wright in The Princess Bride is great. But you do bring up a lot of good points about Jenny. Think she did love Forest, but didn't realise it until later.
Some of the symbolisms in this movie is just so direct, like the protestor who is swinging a baton and calling the guy an oinker, literally the thing the protestors are against, violence by police (the pigs) and she tries to take a baton to him, and also Lt. Dan is sliding down the literal slippery slope both in life and outside TV studio, plus the feather, are we all just floating around on a breeze or do we have a destiny, or is it both, and in the end, Jenny's spirit flies away like a bird.
I think in 2024, people who don't have lingering fantasies of the lynching, village burning days of old, are glad the protestors stood up for themselves.
Kwasi, please tell my I why a Professor of Philosophy is doing movie reactions! I always stay to the end of your synopsis. Thank you for your insights! Keep rolling brother.
Regarding Forrest not being told about little Forrest - he started running soon after Jenny left. Certainly before she would have known she was pregnant. He then ran for over 3 years, with no address or telephone number. No way to get ahold of him. His mom was gone. Who would Jenny have left a message with? Soon after he returns home, Forrest gets her letter (keep in mind she has been following his running, so she knew he had stopped and likely returned home). Within minutes of arriving at her place she tells him, and introduces him to his son. You have to remember the time of this film. He meets little Forrest in 1982 (a bus passing at the bus stop gives us the time frame). There were no cell phones, pagers, email. You needed a phone number or an address to reach someone. As for the bra scene and sleeping with Forrest - I think we are seeing the result of her being sexualized as a child. You see her defaulting to that behavior throughout the film. I think she wants to connect with him, be close to him, etc. And that’s what she knows to do that. She needed help. Many women struggle with this dissonance after child sexual abuse.
If you haven't already seen Back to the Future, it's definitely a must watch. Same director (Robert Zemeckis) and music composer (Alan Silvestri ) as Forrest Gump.
Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurants are licensed by the movie’s owners. There is Forrest Gump trivia, signs on the tables that say “Run Forrest Run” on one side and “Stop” on the other that the patrons use to signal the servers, and all the menu items are named after the characters in the movie. (At least that’s how it used to be set up at the restaurant in Daytona Beach, Fl). In sum…the movie came first and the restaurants are based on the movie.
Jenny. The epitome of those who do not love them selves can love others, but cannot let themselves be loved by others. I feel as though Jenny would have loved forest as a lover if she had any examples of healthy love between adults to learn from. Growing up as she did, and then living with her grandma and having (I assume) Mrs. Gump as a role model she really did not have any close observation of how a romantic-sexual relationship would be conducted. Knowing sex as she does, it would not be something that would fall into the loving and goodness column on her sheet of life and I feel as though Forest is the main fixture in that column. Forest talking about being in a relationship was something she did not want near her because to her a relationship was always tied to being physical and not to love. She loved Forest, no doubt in my mind. She loved him enough to face her fears and be physical with him because she did want that. But afterwards she was so torn up by the thought that she who was so bad for Forrest had taken that love and that good that Forrest was to her and she had just dragged it right on over into the hateful bad part of her world. I also feel like Jenny would have come back as soon as she found out she was pregnant, but he had gone by that time. I hope to high heaven that in those three and a half years that Forrest was on his running expedition that Jenny wrote at least as many letters as Forrest did to her from the army and I hope that Louise just had the post office return any personal correspondence to the sender. I hope there was a whole box of returned letters that Forrest could read through that spoke about little Forrest’s life during that time. I think she absolutely saw the error of her ways and really wanted to marry Forrest for herself and I think that she absolutely needed to marry Forrest so he could have his son when she died without any kind of legal battle. Usually an unmarried father has to be part of the proceedings in order to be put on the birth certificate there should be an acknowledgement of paternity signed. So it is likely that little Forrest does not have Forrest’s name on his birth certificate and he would be put into state custody upon Jenny’s death. So the marriage not only spares their son that but it also spares Forrest the adoption process. I think in college Jenny would have gone through with having sex with Forrest for the same reasons she did when they were older, but that she would have run away and she never would have contacted him again.
Haley Joel also rocks in Secondhand Lions with Robert Duvall and Michael Caine. Hanks also dealt brilliantly with a personal condition in Turner and Hooch. You're good at this. Thanks.
I looked at his filmography* and all I’m familiar with is the super recent Blink Twice but I’m sure I know his face from something else. Anyway Sixth Sense is on the list!
@@JKWESITV The most recent thing I've seen him do was portray J.D. Vance on some Saturday Night Live skits before the election. I didn't even realize it was him at first.
The rights of the name ”Bubba Gump Shrimp Corp.” was apparently bought from this movie the year after it was released from a failing business-owner to give his restaurants a chance. Last year they hit record numbers, so they seem to be doing great
Ya missed it - from the moment he heard Jenny speak, he was in love with her. "Most of us" whom watch these, have seen the movie many times already... "No pausing!" save it for the outtro. "Run Forrest, Run" - Jenny told him to run - that's how he broke free of his braces. I'd argue that if Jenny told him to beat up the 'bullies' he would have died trying! "Generational Gap" stands out within this movie; everything that makes one generation different than the next.
Forrest Jr. was played by Haley Joel Osment who is probably best known for his role in The Sixth Sense. Jenny’s terminal illness was presumably AIDS, which was a fatal illness early on. Enjoyed your reaction and analysis. 👍😎
You obviously don't cry because you were set up to cry in that you were VERY invested in Jenny and her trauma, so I cried (again) for you. I knew you were struggling to hold it back and that made it just as emotional as someone bawling their eyes out (most reactions), so I bawled for you. Awesome reaction

Having gotten his degree Forrest would have gone into the Army as an officer like Lt. Dan. Not a recruit. His ASVAB kills that. 5. He actually saved Lt Dan twice. Once in the field and again to get him out of his post war funk and Dan turned his life around. 6. Normally an enlisted Army person would be fully aware of his/her separation date. 7. @@JKWESITV Great points. Also, Forrest's eyes are closed in every photo. It is ironic that Lt. Dan marries an Asian woman, possible Vietnamese. They had to use cables to help Forrest carry Bubba as he was indeed a big guy. The CGI special effects were revolutionary at the time.
Destroys a person's perception of themselves. 2) she makes it clear throughout that she cares VERY deeply about him. Its HERSELF that she sees as not good enough for HIM. Hes obviously the most innocent and sweetest of people, and she sees this, she also sees herself as trash, almost like as some contagion. THATS why she says "You just stay away from me, please just stay away." After the strip show, and why she agrees he would make a good husband but "You don't wanna marry me." (In other words "I'm worthless" ) 3) she keeps gravitating to abusers because THAtS what she was taught "love" is, from yhe time she was probably a toddler. 4) many question why she waited so long to tell him about his son, but keep in mind he was running cross country pretty much all her pregnancy and Forrest Jr's life. Not exactly easy to track him down, also being single mom is hard. She was probably too busy trying to get herself together and survive as single mom. 5) do'n't let any morons tell you "the book says she had hep C." The book is NOT tge movie (thank God, from what I know about the book, i have no desire to read it, it completely destroys the likeableness of Forrest) and Im 100% convinced the SCREENWRITERS absoluteky intended to infer she had HIV. That part of the movie takes place early 80's, where cases started appearing but it wasn't identified/understood. Just a hill I will die on lol
I think Jenny loves forrest as much as she can. She never felt love. Her mom died early and her dad was abusive, those are the people that are supposed to show you love. I think she told him to run bc she runs every chance she can. She runs from forrest over and over. I think it was hard for her to track down forrest bc he was running for all of those years. When he was done running she wrote him a letter. She never wanted to "contaminate" forrest with what she may have considered her bad life. Just how I took it though
Kwesi - If you like Sally Field, do put 1991's "Soapdish" on your list. Her character constantly repeats phrases 3 times and it's funny with an amazing cast.
In the book, by Winston Groom , Jenny had Hepatitis B. In the film, the director says it was HIV/Aids. Btw, i do not recommend reading the books. The film is sweet, inspiring, funny, and uplifting. Yet, the book is the most depressing thing, where it plays like the author was trying to punish each character and it's also full of racial slurs.

So when this movie came out, the scenes where they modify the real footage to "speak" the lines, looked incredibly real.
Thanking you

If you want to see a great film with Sally Field, watch 'Smokie & The Bandit'!
I'm glad that you reacted to this film because it brought me to your channel. Subbed.
Thank you for your analysis of Jenny. Very insightful. I believe the "just run" is more about herself than Forrest. Great reaction!
You’re right. Something I didn’t pick up on! I feel like making a whole video separate video on Jenny 🤔There’s a lot to her.
Forest's speech on the mall: "Sometimes in Vietnam, boys come home to their Mommas without any legs. Sometimes they don't come home at all. That's a bad thing. That's all I have to say about that."
That sums it up, it's a good speech!
@FredtheFrisian He got up and said what he knew to be true.
His, "That's all I have to say about that," always gets me. You can feel the emotion behind it.
I’m noticing from the comments that Jenny protectors go HARD, thank God I gave her grace 😭
Ohhh bless your dad 🙏
Thanks 🙏🏿
Very very well said 👏 ❤
In my excitement over the story and character I forgot to commend the orchestrator ROBERT ZEMECKIS.
Thank you! ✌️❤️
Honestly I didn't even think about that parallel, thats crazy, also thank you!
You can tell quite a bit about a person by their reaction to certain movies. This reaction tells me you're a good person. ❤
Check out the movie The Sixth Sense. The actor playing Forrest’s son (Haley Joel Osment) stars in that movie. It’s a good one!
It’s on my list!
yay!!! I’m looking forward to seeing your reaction to that movie!
Thanks for not hating on Jenny.
Yea, his son was a huge 90s child actor and still acts today but you recognize him from 90s movies. Like “The 6th Sense” and many more.
Looking forward to hearing the review. 😊 @@JKWESITV

Absolutely LOVE your commentary ❤
Green Mile, Shawshank, and now Forrest Gump?! Bringing out the big guns. Now I HAVE to subscribe.
Never thought of that scene that way makes it very depressing
Love the review you give at the end, pretty cool. Subscribed from now.
Well that settles it, when I watch Pulp Fiction Next month I’m going to have to choose my winner.
The movie came out before the restaurants were created.
this is just a well-done motion picture. your character analysis was spot on
I'm white, American, and a Saint 😂 And I am so happy I just came across your channel! Providence! 😄🙌🏻 This is the only reaction of yours I've watched so far, and may I just say how refreshing it is to find not only a fellow believer, but a reactor who kept it clean, compassionate, and insightful! Bravo, instant new subscriber here! 😄👍🏻
The movie came before the Restaurant .. ⭐️☑️
Haha thank you brother
Wonderful reaction. Subscribed
Beautiful reaction❤
The restaurant came out after the movie.
Such a beautiful movie!!❤❤
If you haven't already seen Back to the Future, it's definitely a must watch. Same director (Robert Zemeckis) and music composer (Alan Silvestri ) as Forrest Gump.
It’s on the list!
In sum…the movie came first and the restaurants are based on the movie.
takes a specific kind of sense of humor to get this movie.....
The Six Senths
No no no no no Kwesi, you many NOT call a movie from 1994 an "old timer film!" 😱
😭 forgive me, it was before my birth
Baby Gump is Haley Joel Osment. Hes also in The Fifth Sense.😊
*Sixth Sense
Great reaction
Forrest Jr. was played by Haley Joel Osment who is probably best known for his role in The Sixth Sense. Jenny’s terminal illness was presumably AIDS, which was a fatal illness early on. Enjoyed your reaction and analysis. 👍😎
Per the screenwriter it was Hepatitis C, not AIDS. Make sense as she may have transmitted HIV to Forrest or her son.
Great reaction to a great movie.
Thank you!
Yes mate! Gotta back Gump man! This film is dope!
god this movie makes me cry like 25 times every time i watch it
Will you please react to the movie, "It's a Wonderful Life." It's an oldie, but a goodie!
1. The music royalties alone must have cost a small fortune🤑🤑🤑🤑
2. Kurt Russell did the voice for Elvis.
3. Typically, boats/ships need a female name.
7. Jenny did indeed give him the best gift ever (it wasn't the shoes)😈
8. Jenny died of Hep-C from dirty needles when she was in Caliphony..
9. It's ironic that Lt. Dan told the guys to take care of their feet because he loses his.
10. At the rally Forrest says, "In Vietnam, sometimes when people go to Vietnam, they go home to their mommas without any legs. Sometimes they don't go home at all. That's a bad thing. That's all I have to say about that."
11. You have had a ride through recent US history and culture. From Elvis, John Lennon, Abby Hoffman to Vietnam and Watergate. Even the jogging craze of the 70's. About the only thing left out was streaking.
12. Observation: Bubba's not a small dude. Forrest carries him with a bullet in his ass.
13. Sometimes, I guess there're just aren't enough rocks"🥺
14. Haley Joel Osmentt/Forrest Jr. steals the show in "The Sixth Sense" with Bruce Willis.🤩
15. Often when he's finishing a segment about death, he ends it by saying "That's all I have to say about that"
16 Keep in mind if Jenny wasn't wasting her life seeking men like her father and was with Forrest he/we wouldn't have had this incredible journey.
Bubba Gump Shrimp was definitely a direct inspiration from this movie!!

Im glad you understand Jenny. Some people actually call her the worst movie villian
1) childhood ab**e, especially s*x*al ab**e, completely de
Destroys a person's perception of themselves.
2) she makes it clear throughout that she cares VERY deeply about him. Its HERSELF that she sees as not good enough for HIM. Hes obviously the most innocent and sweetest of people, and she sees this, she also sees herself as trash, almost like as some contagion. THATS why she says "You just stay away from me, please just stay away." After the strip show, and why she agrees he would make a good husband but "You don't wanna marry me." (In other words "I'm worthless" )
3) she keeps gravitating to abusers because THAtS what she was taught "love" is, from yhe time she was probably a toddler.
Not Without My Daughter is another Sally Field movie you should watch, based on a true story.
In the South, men never stop quoting their mamas.
Bubba Gump came AFTER the film to capitalize on the opportunity.
Edit: It's mediocre chain restaurant seafood.
What a shame. Bubba did NOT die for mediocre 😭
@@JKWESITV But he continues to spread the good word about shrimp even after death.
Kwesi - If you like Sally Field, do put 1991's "Soapdish" on your list. Her character constantly repeats phrases 3 times and it's funny with an amazing cast.
Steel Magnolia is another movie you should react to. Also has Sally Field, Julia Roberts and many other well known actresses.
OG Dodgers cap. Field of Dreams is a must watch if you haven't already.
The restaurant takes after the film.
You need to watch the vid-Elvis and the Black community. It's eye opening. I hope your channel does well. Be safe.

Hurt people, hurt people. Jenny does deserve sympathy, however she did become an abuser as well. Forest needs hella therapy.

World war 2 mini series band of brothers I think it Had Gary sinise and tom hanks as Executive producers or producers. Giratina is very big about Taking care of Military veterans and their families.
Sinise 🤣
Damage done.
So when this movie came out, the scenes where they modify the real footage to "speak" the lines, looked incredibly real. I know it seems so hard to believe but for the next 10 years it still looked real.
Then we had so much really good CGI that now the scenes look funny. But you know what, it's such a great film that even if they are funny it still works!
