When I Use the 600 and do the gaming headset test video on youtube where the fountain is in front of you and then behind you I dont hear the difference with the 600... When I use earbuds (that came with my samsung s6...) I hear it so well I can feel that the sound is behind me ... idk whats wrong with the headset its the second pair and still the same.. same for the arctis 7p I hear it a bit better that the sound is behind me but not at all like the simple earbuds that cost prob 5 bucks..

SteelSeries offers the Arctis 1 Wireless which is the same price as the stealth 600 which has the same exact audio speakers but it has a detachable mic, and different build quality such as where you slide it to fit and there’s no strap for your head. The Stealth 600 Gen 2 is probably the better option though.

I already own a Stealth 700 for Xbox but I’m getting a PS5 and am looking for a good budget headset. The lack of Bluetooth on the 600 is the only thing holding me back. Maybe I’ll just buy another 700 for PlayStation.
The 7P costs 150% of the TB Stealth 600 price. That cost difference explains the difference in features that sway a lot of people to the 7Ps in this comparison. A fairer comparison might be comparing the 7P to TB's Stealth 700, which costs the same as the 7Ps. My deciding factor is mic audio, and the TBs win that for me. Listening to people I game with who use either the TB 600 or 700, their mic audio just sounds so much nicer to me. I go with the TB 600 d/t price and being a broke student.

I thought about it , but I hear the biggest difference between the 700 and this 600 is just the ear cups. I hear they have the same sound profiles. I still might pick up a pair though.
@@unboxinghype813 definitely recommend. They also have bluetooth. Which is very useful so you don’t miss a call or you can even just use them for your everyday use. It also has a longer battery life. Igot them about a month ago and i like them a lot better than the ps headset.

Good point. It doesn’t seem like that would be as much as a problem fir the 7p as it would be for the 600 Gen 2 for some reason. The materials are still white white on the 7p. But the 600 isn’t as white as it used to be. As for yellowing, time will only tell.

I have both atm and the 7p sound is just not good.. the lows are not good and the highs are not clear its like ur listening in a tin can idk how to explain... the 600 sound is much better but the comfort on the 600 is horrible so idk what to do now.. prob send them both back 🤦♀️
Try a different eq on the 7p before you send them back. The sound can be changed. I haven’t made a video for it yet, but look it up if you haven’t already.
@@unboxinghype813 I tried all the presets and I tried just upping the vocal but still not nearly as clear as the turtle beach.. just wish the stealth 600 were more comfortable.. I dont understand why they didnt make the ear cushions oval instead of this strange shape that pinches your ear.. Maybe the stealth 700 would be perfect then for me because they use leather? ..

i had the arctics 7p for my ps4 and honestly they sounded dull and my friends said the mic sounded trash. i went and exchanged them for the stealth 600 gen 2 and already they are so much better
Your mic was pretty far from your mouth doing the mic test with Steelseries. Mic can be turned up too. Turtle Beaches look low quality plastic and basically every review puts Steelseries out front. SS also has a great app that has an equilizer and game setting like immersion to hear footsteps in FPS games. I would save your $$ and get SS. Turtle Beach are garbage.

I use the headset mute. I figure it overrides the controller mute but I could be wrong

one of the worst headsets I had in years in a matter of sound. extremely unbalanced and bassless sound, too loud to even focus.
