WoW! It took a Pepperoni commercial for me to discover such talent! Bravo! Bravo!
lmfao same here
That's how I got here!
Me also. I liked the commercial so much more than it made any sense to.
I guess it was just an instinct for talent. Going to have to see this guy when he comes to Milwaukee
We are going to see him perform in Sanford, Fl this Friday!

It's the " my pepperona" guy!!!!
It's my 2nd cousins kid! Musical family, for sure. His dad (also Al Meixner) played accordion at Epcot for years. Alex is taking it to another level. Great job!!
man i learned about this guy from the pepperoni commercial what a banger🤘🤘 next time u see him please tell him juan is jammin out
@@jewanmarkez It's hard to believe the impact of this bit. Also, it's unlikely that I will see him again...maybe at a funeral. His Dad (Al) may remember me, but I'm certain that Alex wouldn't. It's cool though that he's achieved this level of notoriety. Great for him.
@@TheJollycoppers agreed and regardless thanks well wishes for all of you hopefully you meet somewhere other than a funeral
Saw the Alex Meixner Band this past Saturday at the Cleveland Oktoberfest. What a performance!
Accordian to me, thus guy rocks!!
I became acquainted with Alex during an unsuccessful attempt to recruit his band to perform on RFD-TV's "The Big Joe Polka Show", way back in 2009. Alex, the "Jimi Hendrix of the Accordion" is not only a first-rate performer, he is one very nice person. Thanks for uploading this!
+AMStationEngineer I got to know Alex about 12 years ago at a couple of consecutive accordion festivals in Cotati California... made a couple of videos with his music where he plays a trumpet... he is a wonderful person
My first contact with Alex took place in 2009, in an attempt to book him for RFD-TV's "Big Joe Show", where I was an engineering consultant. I've viewed your videos on several occasions over the last couple of years, (neat videos by the way). They serve to support the fact that Alex has to be the most energetic and talented person in all of show business.
Friends of mine own Stoudt's, Adamstown, where he entertains the "civilian troops" from all around. I'm told that he fills every hotel and motel within ten miles on the night of his show.
Absolutely FANTASTIC He is definitely "one of a kind" a true musician. I observed those fingers of his, and they looked almost like they were made out of rubber, the way they were moving, when, i happened to notice while he was playing the "button box" his right thumb is positioned on the side of the keyboard ( which is normal ) .....BUT........i believe i also noticed his fingers are "double jointed" Gotta love this guy, he's wonderful.
He's a genius on the Accordion.
He slays that instrument! Sounds sooo good!
That was unbelievable. Such incredible talent. Enjoyed it immensely.
Bravo Alex... you are a master...
Hex Spadez Why is that?
Wow! I’ve seen many of your videos but this performance is quite unique. Thanks for sharing!
WOW. Great Job!

He's a national treasure.

No bad for a guy with a Masters in Trumpet !!! Go Alex ... Pep, pep, Hormel Pepperoni ...
ALEX M . Este foarte TALENTAT !!! OK !!! HUGS !!! BYE !!!
Accordians all forms are underrated, especially in the US, 2nd hardest instrument to play on planet earth and only a virtuoso can play it that well
Maybe the best all around accordionist today.
Damn. Killed it!
He is a master
Bravo, Bravo, bravo! You are unbelievable! Love it!
World,s best thank,s you
2018... looking at your tour schedule. What? No tour dates in Chicago, Milwaukee or Madison? Come over here please! ;-)

YOU SHOULD BE THE 8TH WONDER OF THE WORLD. LOVE UR VITALITY ENTHISIASM ENERGY AND PERFORMANCE. FROM TERRIE IN BETHLEHEM.
Is that a Hohner Morino? What a rich sound.
Sure is!!! Full 5 reeds and double tone chamber. Classic instrument.
Maravilhoso
I am from 🇱🇰
Can't say shit, dude is bad ass good 👍🏻
Never seen you play a Hohner, by the way. Any particular reason?
I feel like an accordion would do incredibly well busking, and it would help revive it... 🤷🏽♂️
Like a PhD in organ for the squeeze box
Seems like a difficult instrument to master.
hey alex you missed a bass note at 9:16, keep practising buddy and I'm sure you'll improve
You play vdry good. Only the music is not my taste. Little bit too wild, hehe.
It's so Russian
this dude gets down... the second part of the video is insanity
