@@gingerbeardedone3318I don't think it's that. I think it's people wanting entertainment to be escapism, not someone's critique on modern politics. I can see both sides of that argument.
@@gingerbeardedone3318 It's not that and it's not politics, it's just the writing and the quality of the storytelling. There was nearly all out superhero civil war last season, now suddenly Butcher and Homelander are back to having conversations with each other. Everything involving Frenchie has been boring and irrelevant to the plot, it's like an exec said "you're required to have a gay male couple in this show somewhere, make it happen". Just weird that he and Kimiko are suddenly done with each other. Nobody cares about Hughie's mom, she got a lot of screen time that wasn't interesting at all, they could have shortened her scenes. And the show is just so on the nose with the political commentary, I mean who actually says "uppity" about a black person these days. Just "you're one of the good ones" would have been a perfect line on its own. It seemed like we were on the brink of a war where opposing characters see each other as "kill on sight", and now suddenly characters are acting like they did back in season 2 where they're not sure what the other side is up to and need to investigate. It's not trash, and this episode was very entertaining, but it's just not at the level of quality that the first 3 seasons were.

Thats why he is smiling like that cant remember the last time he smiled like that, he felt free of the budens of fear and solidified in his head that he is a god and everyone else is a peasant a toy, an experince an incovinence maybe even entertainment. He has finally freed himself of the burdens and mental blocks. People dont understand the flip he switched THE ITCH he finally got the courage to scratch. Homelander is no longer that bullyable baby man he has dare I say this grown up a little and you finally can justify why he is the way he is. Firecracker's medication is metoclopramide, it's used for acid reflux or gastrointestinal issues. (Not a doctor, I googled it). This would make sense since label also says "Take 1 tablet by mouth... before meals and ...). Thanks for all the content!
That's its main use but it has a lesser known usage of increasing milk production. I'm pretty sure she's taking Sage's advice to heart and attempting to lactate
So there's a The Boys cartoon that came out a while back. There was a character that instead of them getting powers, it was their tumor. So it might be a similar case and we could be seeing a Venom situation. And that might be the reason why he's seeing his wife, it might be his tumor/cancer.
To get rid of his humanity, Homelander really cattered to the most humane feeling of revenge to move on from his past, i don't think he will evolve the way he wanted ! :3
I think his mom saw him pocket it and did it because she realized when she went to hug him that Houghie will never love her like he loves his dad. She saved the dad for Houghie.
Of all the people homelander killed those are the only group of people i feel absolutely no empathy, for…they happily torture homelander for years, and basically created a fucking monster(don’t get me wrong Homelander is still responsible for all of his bad actions, but the people working at this lab definitely had a big part on why he’s that way)The guy said “I was just doing my job“ but his job was still torturing & mistreating a kid, and like homelander said nobody stopped and said that what they were doing was wrong. All of them were OK with what they were doing until he came back for revenge. And now that I’m thinking about it I’m surprised that none of them were expecting this… like the second Homelander left the lab all of them should’ve ran and hide because if I was them, I would fully expect him to come back and kill me for what I did.
My personal theory is the temp V has had similar after effects on Butcher and Hughie! Butcher is seeing Kessler and Hughie has developed split personality and that’s his mum so he did give his dad the V
Can you elaborate more on the split personality theory, it looked like hug left to get coffe and the mom slipped the v in his iv cause she works for vought.
The realest thing is that the right wing will forgive horrific things of their leaders, as long as they keep toeing the line and saying the hateful stuff they want them to say.
@@raiden8063 My theory is she didn't blow his head up totally but instead caused a stroke enough to make it look like a natural phenomenon. It just seems a bit coincidental. Also with the mother suddenly showing up who works for Vought. There's more going on there. Could be wrong maybe nothing and it's a coincidence.
this season might not be the moat popular, but i think there is a Lot more going on than ppl realise. someone mentioned the mom might be a similar hallucination like butcher has. so if correct, He gave V to his dad.
I wish we had more flash back scenes of homelander and the lab. To make us feel even more for him. But i feel like this is the only time we can agree with homelander killing these people. Especially after they said "i was just doing my job" and "we made you like this on purpose". In that case, him being a supe, he's just "doing his civic duty".
I'm pretty sure Huey's mom is NOT REAL! Just like Butcher seeing Becca. Here's the hint... You never see her talking to anyone... Except Huey. That last V that Butcher took seems to have... Changed him, possibly making him a REAL supe! That V that Huey has is what's going to make him a real supe, too!
Its a parasite I don't think it's coming out of him it's going into his brain to help him. The parasite seems to be intelligent and have powers much like the parasite in Legions brain in Marvel
Think you meant the whole point of these eps was to show that both sides are messed up in one way or another starlight used to be a abusive bully and sparkler women is messed up person as well so instead of saying she’s a hero she’s not. So it’s actually baby killer vs pdfile. There’s no 100% good side.

After this ep, Homelander is forever GOATED as one of the best villains of all time. And I hope I see more of Antony in other works of media as well cuz he is a master of acting.
OMG!! Just when i thought Homelander/anthony starr acting has shown how good he is until this episode🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Firecracker=Alex Jones
Kripke said she’s based on Marjorie Taylor Green…but you make sense too…so both?
@@jimhashbrowns3874 your totally right. We can both take a point.
@@jimhashbrowns3874She's like Jones and Green had a baby and fed it paint chips.
I hate firecracker. Sucks how hot she is😂
@@jimhashbrowns3874 kripke likes kids
21:10 The “Oh Marty squirted” caught me off guard 😂
21:46 nooo deadasss😂😂😂😂😂😂 why would you keep a location like this knowing y’all were terrified of him and he could come back and do exactly what he did 😂😂😂😂 TERRIFIC acting done by Antony here as Homelander. Truly he was born for this role! Love the reaction❤
Your reaction made me realize. Starlight and Firecrackers ages dont line up to be in the same pageants.
Starlight was 23 in S1 and it keeps insinuating that firecracker is at least mid 30s. With the 28 year old tmz article.
20:42 😂
Never seen this clip before & I damn near choked to death from laughing 😂🤣💀
19:57 If this part isn't on a compilation's channel, I'll be disappointed, it's so prophetic!
IMO this was the best episode of the season.... Any episode that focuses a ton on Homelander is amazing.
I’ve heard people say that the worm is almost like a symbiote (from Spider-Man) in the way it’ll protect its host and do crazy shit in a crisis
Not the spit meme😭😭
I legitimately was laughing and enjoying every second of what Homelander was doing
This is one of the few scenes where I don’t hate him
10:46 “Everyone put the cake down” 💀😭
Nice of Homelander to let them have a last meal, even if it was just a cake.
noooo Hawk Tuah girl wasnt meant for this! lol
Can’t believe this seasons gettin some hate, I’m loving it as usual so far
Yeah I don't get it at all; it's like people don't like character development.
@@gingerbeardedone3318I don't think it's that. I think it's people wanting entertainment to be escapism, not someone's critique on modern politics. I can see both sides of that argument.
@@chairmanofthebored6860this show has always been political yall need to be fr .
@@shayasims yes I understand that. Hence why I see both sides of it.
This episode was incredible
Genuinely been buzzing for this reaction..!! One of my favorite episodes, fucking stacked, Anthony Starr just fucking crushing it and literally everything turning horrifically shit 😂😂
This was such a needed thing for john to do as a psycopath all his wires were crossed he is a fearless god who? What needs love? But is also scared of his past? No that cant stand it will not stand. Like vought could bring in phsyciatrist to manipulate me but you couldnt have 2 pose as parents to RAISE him. Id be outraged. Hes nothing but the monster YOU made. I FINALLY underatand him. And my love for homie has only grown 😂❤
I've eaten that cake. It's awesome. It's fudgie the whale by carvell. There's also a bear. Yes, ice cream cake but no cake, just ice cream
To get rid of his humanity, Homelander really cattered to the most humane feeling of revenge to move on from his past, i don't think he will evolve the way he wanted ! :3
Domino is the Macgyver of murder, lol.
I meant Komiko
I think his mom saw him pocket it and did it because she realized when she went to hug him that Houghie will never love her like he loves his dad. She saved the dad for Houghie.
34:14. Homelander: 😈 Revenge is awesome
Yeah you’d think Vought would have at least moved their lab.
Hawk tuah and spit on that thang 😂
Eyyy, love the Ghost shirt Bridgette! You guys going to see their new movie?
My personal theory is the temp V has had similar after effects on Butcher and Hughie! Butcher is seeing Kessler and Hughie has developed split personality and that’s his mum so he did give his dad the V
Can you elaborate more on the split personality theory, it looked like hug left to get coffe and the mom slipped the v in his iv cause she works for vought.
but the doctors are in conversation with him regarding his mom, so not too sure about that
*Shakes fist at this episode making me feeling bad for Homelander*
Starlight got what she deserved after the way she destroyed Firecracker's pageant career by spreading a horrible rumor that was a lie.
The realest thing is that the right wing will forgive horrific things of their leaders, as long as they keep toeing the line and saying the hateful stuff they want them to say.
So do lefties
@@leonrussell9607 lol go away
@@mathmexican4234 liked your own comment
What if it’s like a symbiote and this is like “The Boys” own version or something
I still think Neumann caused Hughies Dad's stroke. Remember she said shed kill his family members one by one.
Oh I hadn't even considered that! Totally possible
She said she would do that if they expose her. Why would she risk doing this?
@@raiden8063 My theory is she didn't blow his head up totally but instead caused a stroke enough to make it look like a natural phenomenon. It just seems a bit coincidental. Also with the mother suddenly showing up who works for Vought. There's more going on there. Could be wrong maybe nothing and it's a coincidence.
@@AmusedGermanShepherd-er5gpbut why though. Remember, mutually assured destruction?
this season might not be the moat popular, but i think there is a Lot more going on than ppl realise.
someone mentioned the mom might be a similar hallucination like butcher has. so if correct, He gave V to his dad.
I would have got a 2nd piece of Homelander’s cake. No point in worrying about calories at that point.
30:03 I really think they are two of the best actors on the show and they are so good in their scenes
Ya, I'm on Homelanders' side this one time. Plus watching Annie kick her stupid ass was so satisfying lol
I'm glad starlight beated the holy Ghost out of firecracker she deserved it
20:02
Not the hawk tuah😂😂😂
I really hope Sage is playing the long game and will turn on Homelander.
She doesnt take cake, so she survived 😅
Yeah i wondered if it was the cake or Homelander lasers lol
But he Lasered the door shut so she is probably gonna die in there from starvation 😅
@iusen64pad how much does it take a person to turn to rationing blood and people goo for sustanence till vaught gets her out?
Torturing a kid made him into a monster. Who would have thought! smh no sympathy for the scientists
Loved this episode so much ..i'm so sick
Deep will do everything for 😺 😂
This is the ONE TIME Homelander does horrible things and I'm just like... you know what? GET EM, man. These people tortured a child for his ENTIRE childhood, while laughing and joking and feeling no empathy for a freaking CHILD LOCKED IN AN OVEN, man. For once I'm with Homelander.
Butcher with the Moon Knight batshit
They showed the cast from gen-v....
RIP to the dude from that show....
😭
Fudgie the Whale is god tier! 😛
Fudge the whales are popular in New York
this season is being 10
I really would love to know though what the hell were they working on down in B6.
They didn't have any other subjects down there, so why is this entire team of scientists in this area?
i think it was mentioned hughies mother works for vought thats why she know to use the v
oh what if Butcher's worms ate stretchy's brain to fix him or something?
Firecracker…
SHE NOT LIKE US
I hate Homelander with a passion, but fuck, he is SO good. Emmy performance!
Hugie put his jacket down his mom.saw him handling the v she took it when he went to get coffee
I cant wait to see the gen v kids come in
But would he receive different powers from permanent v than temp v? I think it was Newman
After watching this episode I been feeling bad for him , no wonder why he is crazy they made him their lab rat
