@Zaisa I feel the same way, and I'm sorry to hear you had this experience. As someone from Stockholm I'm sure I've contributed to this harsh vibe, until I lived abroad and saw how weird Stockholm is. Happy to hear you find it better here in Copenhagen!
Interesting chat, I’m very curious qbout visiting Copenhagen now! I’d also love to see a video about sustainable, Swedish brands. You mentioned ”Kerber” in another video and I was blown away I had never heard of them!
Copenhagen is fantastic, however, there are definitely problems here as well. Oh great to hear. There are quite a lot of brands, would love to do a video about this!
This is exactly why I always have been drowned to move to Scandinavian country.. as an creative person I always loved the culture music movie and art…. I was also seeking for a place to live where I could be myself and fulfill my creative dreams😊 also to meet new like-minded people and have a easy and simple joyful life😊
I loved the video. Just a question: how would you compare Sweden/Stockholm to Norway/Oslo? I have the impression that Norwegian people are also relaxed and somehow easygoing, but I have never been to Norway before.
No offense, but I remember the late 1970s and beginning to mid 1980s, many Swedes usually came to Copenhagen and Elsinore (Helsingør) every weekend mainly to drink because back then alcohol was really cheap and accessible compared to Sweden. It was actually not unusual to see passed out Swedes around the cities after a couple of nights of heavy drinking. It was kind of funny sometimes and a group of Danes made some posters which they very illegally put up around Copenhagen (illegal because you need a permit for that sort of thing) with the text "Do Copenhagen a favor, follow a Swede to the ferry" (there were no bridge back then. That being said, we are actually very fond of our Scandinavian brothers and sisters in Sweden and Norway. The typical Danish culture is basically that you can pretty much do anything you want to do as long as you don't break any laws and rules or knowing try to harm people in any way. Danes usually don't have any problems with people being different. I do agree that it can be difficult to befriend Danes. As a Dane, I would recommend to join a sport club and start to play badminton, handball, football etc. Danes are not exactly known for befriending people out in town on a Friday or Saturday night. It can take a long time to become real friends with a Dane but on the other hand, when a Dane has finally accepted you as a friend, you have a friend for life.
As an actual Dane I can tell you Denmark is not racist in the traditional meaning of the word-we don't care about the color of peoples skin-what we do care about is culture meaning does your culture mix with ours, do you respect the law, do you support yourself financially and respect our values and culture, then you will be just fine- the reason some people think we are racist is because there is a lot of debate politically about migrants who doesn't work, who are doing crime, or are applying pressure on other people such as forced marriage, sending their children to their home country to be "reeducated" because the parents feel they are becoming to Danish , honour killings because a daughter in the family have a boyfriend ect. in other words problems we see increase after having a lot of migrants from Islamic countries-most Muslim however are doing fine in Denmark but there will be a constant focus in the media about those situations where there is a culturel clash , and you should be prepared for that some politicians will just sy migrants or non western, but they are always talking about Islam now that is a religion and culture not a race, it is however still difficult and not fair for all those who are doing fine
Hørt. A very nice video, and we hope you and your boyfriend stays and are happy and safe. Greetings from and all time Copenhagenar 😆😉😇.P.s. And my great grandfather was swedish😮💨
Thank you for the nice words about kbh and Denmark but I have to really disagree with you about the racism in Denmark I just on Google that in Sweden you have 23 hate groups or what do you call Nazi groups and Denmark we have five. Oh, and when they’re all meetings or something political, they always afraid of all the protesters from heat groups in Sweden coming down here. And you can say I am a Scandinavian because I got blood I’m half Norwegian ( born I norway ) with Swedish blood and danish. I love Denmark most we can say and do whatever we want( of course what’s legal) The big difference between Denmark and Sweden is we in Denmark say what we mean Swedish people like Norwegians you done not, it’s wrong to sett of us apart from the rest of the crowd. And that shows. And look at all the problems you have now, because you have been so blinded to the problems that could be,and it’s only gonna get worse and now we are sitting record all the time by killing each other. Last year it was 63 gun killed people.
You are correct regarding the racism. Racism in Denmark are primarily a media picture created in Sweden for Swedes, to enforce their political motivated notions. It´s back to the huge immigrant flow 15-20 years ago where Danes already HAD acknowledged what our statistics were showing. Namely that some immigrants in particular, were very heavily over represented in our crime statistics, why Danes were more than reluctant to accept more immigrants from these nations. From 1st to 8th most over represented immigrant nationalities (in relation to native Danes) in crime convictions, are all coming from muslim nations. This fact were open data for Danes, but Swedish data not for Swedes, that insisted that all people were the same. Danish data unfortunately even supports the fact that second generation muslim immigrants here are even more criminally over represented than their parents. Now 15-20 years later the Swedish politicians are coming to Denmark to learn what we have done to avoid segregation and actually get crime rates from them down and their educational and employability rate up. Sweden´s ideological insistence, have caused them to go from similar numbers as in Denmark and Norway to now having Europe´s absolute highest amount of killings and bombings in entire Europe, thus also higher than say, Albania, Roumania, Russia. Swedish immigrants criminality are now even negatively affecting all its neighbouring countries, just as we tried to warn about it would eventually happen. The last were officially recognised by the Swedish chief of police just a few weeks ago. Danes try to warn Sweden repeatedly but stopped when we were called "racists" for acting in accordance with what real life data showed us. Denmark limited immigration and Sweden did not. Now Sweden have huge and costly, both in sufferings and financially, problems as result.
Like this comment if you think my description of Sweden was accurare 👌

What are your thoughts on the Copenhagen tour are you still thinking about doing it 😁? Also, how's the decor update situation going?
😍 both these things are coming soon! Very excited about them but haven’t had the time. Soon! ✨👌
I loved the video. Just a question: how would you compare Sweden/Stockholm to Norway/Oslo? I have the impression that Norwegian people are also relaxed and somehow easygoing, but I have never been to Norway before.
Thank you! 💕 I have never been to Oslo, and I have only been to Norway once as a kid so I can’t say much unfortunately. 🥰
I want to move to Copenhagen❤
I can understand that 🥰🤭
Dont you need to live atleast 5 years in Danmark to buy an apartment?
No, not to buy apt. I believe that’s the case with houses tho.
If you come from another EU country ( as Sweden is ), you have the exactly same rights as any other Dane. Its the same all over the EU.
@@ursin1they do have a specific rule for buying houses though

Haha yes, jeg har hørt historierne om svensker i Danmark og de plakater. 😅🥰
as a POC, i would love to know more about the racism in Denmark pls, as i am planning to move there!
I will try and make a video on this topic for sure!
Biggest Racists in Denmark are immigrants and Foreigners. 🥴🙄..🙂

Hello you! You're welcome. Racism definitely exists in Sweden and the increasing number of deadly shootings are horrific!
