I live in NYC and wow, was that a mission hitting up all those spots. I thought this vid was made over the course of a few days but it wasn't . kudos to you! :)
I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and didn’t realize I wasn’t subscribed. I am now subbed haha! Great shop tours. Love seeing other LCSs. Man I miss shops. Thanks again for sharing!
Sade' I love when you put your hand out like 'Jane Jetson" for the issues you picked up 😂 That WW cover is on point. Great vid, love and miss the City, keep em coming lady🙏🆓🔑🤟
Entertaining video, if you ever get the chance to visit the UK you should check out the Forbidden Planet shops in London or Manchester they are a lot bigger and carry a helluva lot more stock than the New York one I guess that this is because they are a UK based company, thanks for sharing the video though even the scary Carmine Comics lol.
@@Whatpaigeisit Well good luck in visiting the UK one day especially London this may sound biased but I have fortunately visited many places in the world but nowhere buzzes like London
Hi Sade... I'll be in new york next week and I need to fil some gaps in my comic book collection. Wich is the best comics shop that has the best "Back Issue" forniture??? Thank you!!!
You should visit Chicago Comics *wink, wink* 😆Maybe one day! Love seeing the different shops! So much fun! The last time I was in NYC, I was only able to go to Midtown. I don't even think I had time to go to the second floor because I was with a travel tour group and we only had so much free time scheduled.
Hey what’s up I am Bob in Connecticut yes there are lots of women into comic books nowadays I was a bartender I gave up the restaurant business 10 years ago because of comic books. I am going to the Jacob Javits comic con on Friday. The only thing I do anymore is go to concert and I have New York Yankees every year. I had to sell a lot of my books because I’m never going to work again. Thank God I kept my first Iron Man tales of suspense 39 8.5 I bought that for $5300 about 12 years ago in New York City and right now last week 8.0 just sold for $89,475. Yes my copy is better. Anyway look at the first Spiderman I got there about 12 years ago at the Jacob Javits Center amazing fantasy 15 6.0 for $4000 that’s $100,000 comic book right now. 1.8 just sold for more than $28,000. Well good luck with everything comic books will make you retire very early in life.MUTANT and PROUD
It is so hard to find comic shops with a good silver and bronze collection in NYC . If anyone knows shops with long boxes full of silver and bronze comics in NYC or even in New Jersey please inform . Thanks
@@Whatpaigeisit I can give you a tour one day! Theres a thrift store nearby that also on occasion has long boxes of comics ! 2 comics per bag and board for $1.29 .

I know that it has been almost a year, but do you remember if any of them had 1 dollar bins?
I know Midtown Astoria outlet has that. I don't know if the rest do

I hope Midtown Comics doesn't shut down during the pandemic
They should be fine, plus they have 4 locations 🤗
Not a fan of forbidden Planet for comics. JHU is my fav as it has those old school LCS vibes I remember as a kid.
Yeah, each shop definitely appeal's to various customers. JHU is a fun spot for sure 🤗
