I've always heard of Midtown Comics, even bought from them online a few times. It was great to finally see what the store looked like. Thanks for taking the time to make these LCS spotlight videos. Really cool to watch.
Easily my favorite shop and 1st stop I make every time I visit the city. I've known this store for so many years and while I'm mostly a trading card collector, I always walk around the store to check out their impressive stock of collectibles that I only wish I had the money for. Awesome tour of the shop, Gem Mint!!!!
I was in NYC at the very same week. Part for NYCC but also as a tourist. I visited Midtown Comics atleast three or four times during the week, because it was so much to look at, and i couldn't decide what to buy right off. But i came home with some good stuff, and after that i put on some subs from my LCS. Man i need to visit New York City soon again.
I watched this video a few days ago and I was pumped and super impressed how big the comic shop was and because of you I went on-line looking to shop for some goodies. I had to keep stopping due to the fact I am at home helping my kids. Some items I was going to purchase shot up in price a whole $30.00. Nice shop for sure, but the on-line experience was not cool. I know it's not a reflection of this channel, I enjoy all the content you put out and thank you for that.
Gee, that was really neat! I lived in Brooklyn for most of the 00's, and that Midtown was my primary comic shop. So many nice memories of going there on a Wednesday afternoon. This video really brings me back. Comics were a lot better back then, too, unfortunately.
My two favourite stores in the world are Midtown Times Square & Frankenstein’s over in Woodbury NJ. Two completely different types of stores but both have great selections and awesome staff. Great video mate!

They're the biggest store/chain I believe on the East Coast. I don't make it into Manhattan nowadays with the coronavirus, but I still make the time to visit my LCS weekly! Damn that store looked absolutely amazing, so much selection. I have to say watching your videos has helped me get the bug back again in getting monthly issues. My favourite title easily is Daredevil because he is my favourite character
Gotta love midtown comics, when Batman damned came out they were like none of locations have it they were sold out right away. Fast forward a week later their booth at nycc was full of them for 60 bucks a piece 🤔
Great tour Gem. Heard a lot about this place. Definitely Wil hit them up, if I make it to nxt year's Con. I did manage to scoop up a Sideshow Hawkeye piece from them off eBay, earlier this year. They're definitely legit.
Gem are the hoodies up for sale yet let me know where i can get one. As for the tour ive been to midtown alot as i work in nyc great store always have holiday sales goin on, online and in store just a real good comic shop.
