- With the recent spike in players when it comes to Fallout New Vegas. I've decided it would best if I jumped on the bandwagon and gave you my thoughts on the best faction to play as in Fallout Vegas. Is it the NCR? Is it the Legion? No...its not them.

I have changed factions many times in my decade of playing. Older I get, the more interesting my choices are.

I still like how people complain about the NCR taxes and acting like you aren't gonna still be paying taxes in all the ending except independence vegas in which the folks in the biggest city probably still gotta pay taxes.
NCR takes "taxes" from people who dont benefit from them at all and kick people out of their land
The BOS aren’t even that great for power armor, just get Arcade so you can get the remnants power armor
I’m personally a NCR or Yes-man guy
I tried going towards the yes man ending but realized I would have to fight both final bosses if I did so. I agree with the idea of the NCR, but it has flaws that harm it. The legion’s a know for me, because of the fact women have no rights and they use slave labor.
I read Mr. Houses “obituary” after I killed him, and realized that he, on a personal level, does not care at all for the people of New Vegas and thinks of them as inbred hicks.
House is based though. Why should he care if humanity is just a hellhole? Besides Doc Mitchell, sunny smiles, and Veronica everyone in the wasteland can go fornicate themselves,
Mr house should be the cannon ending as it gives a lot of possibilities for season 2. The fact there is a guy who controls Las Vegas and has it as an independent economic zone and all is neat. Also he’s from before the war so that adds some possibilities already.
The skill checks are not required in good springs (to help the locals) they are optional, you can initiate the fight with just Rudy on board.

Apparently there was cut content for the game (wow, cut content for new Vegas? How surprising!) where you could ally Mr house with the NCR and honestly I’m glad it was cut because that sounds like way too good of an ending.

I don't like the legion as a civilisation but as a faction I find them very cool. Another thing is the legion is not so bad like the game said they are bad but they have good sides in them. Like the settlements and cities in their terretories have a better live as before the legion came because the legion kill all raiders and hostile wild life in their terretory. Water and in some cities energy suply is Staple the food is okay. They have taxation like the ncr but not as heavy like them and in the legion is little corruption because this is very hard punished by ceaser wven for legion standarts. If do what the legion say and shut your mouth you have for wasteland Standards a good life. The inhabitants of the legion zone are not slaves but they are not truly free . What makes this faction grey like the others .

the most tax-avoidable route would be Yesman, depending on whether or not how you interpret the Courier would handle things
You do know Yes Man tells you to your face that he found coding that allows him to be "more assertive"....and yes man has a bit of his coding in EVERY securatron robot...just food for thought

The fact yes man can change his code independent of your actions is worrying, particularly as it means he may not necessarily been telling the truth to you at basically any point of the game, but the thing is your not dead when he gains control, despite the fact end slides exist, you can easily head cannon yourself to say thats what happens if you don't intervine, if you were a courier that wanted power and to rule vegas that would make to much sense to have him stay in the lucky 38 ready to destroy the attena on the building if needed to shut down yesman

I opened the video with no intention of watching or hear what it have to say . The answer is and always will be NCR and not the shit from the tv series the real fnv ncr with the help of THE courier and maybe the followers and I surely love how I made everyone join forces at the end for a cause freeside bos boomers remnants rangers etc...

Yea man is a faction you can keep in line, yesman becomes more assertive by the end, but ultimately he is still bound by his programming, and by the fact the that courier 6 will live for a decent few years, so unless the he just decides to ignore yesman going against his wishes he still has a lot of sway, remember that worst case scenario all he needs to do to shut down yesman is cut the power to vegas, yesman cant hope to hold both the damn and helios one while maintaining gis rule in the rest of the area, its only after the 6 is dead that he can cause issues

I maintain that independent vegas is the best option, the NCR is already damaged from greed and corruption, and with the now cannon destruction of the NCR, unfortunately the argument for an NCR vegas is much worse, house is just way to egotistical and more importantly profit driven, all he cares about was his wealth and power, and that's not going to change when he sets up a legal system for his territory that reads, no labor rights, no unions, and it is illegal to give non workers your food or water, without paying a tax he levies and enforces
