MUSIC SESSION with LOCK KEEPERS | CYCLING with a VIOLIN in IRELAND | Royal Canal Greenway 1

Ireland is my second home. As a student I fell in love with the music, the landscape and the people. Close to Dublin you can find the Royal Canal Greenway, the first multi-day cycle route that is almost entirely on cycle paths. Together with singer-songwriter Paul O'Brien I cycle next to the canal for three days. With on the way: music sessions, lockkeepers and traces of the Irish Famine.

dat verhaal over de honger, het blijft verbazend hartoos wat mensen elkaar aan kunnen als ze niet tot 'hun' groep behoren. de de-humanisatie is te treurig. De muziek was natuurlijk gelukkig een totaal feestje van klein geluk.👏👏🙃

Beautiful videography, awesome music and interesting, if tragic history. I did not know what workhouses were and how awful they were. Now I understand more fully what Ebeneezer Scrooge was saying when he asked are there no workhouses. Another great video, thank you!
